Sun Girl is out now via @transferansmuzik 🌞 The new Sun Girl EP can channel melancholy, hope, longing, and optimism through synth layers and blurred, dusty textures, tracing movement, time, sunlight and shifting emotional tones which often open into denser, shoegaze-like walls of sound. Across five tracks, lo-fi melodic figures and electronic loops recur in different forms, slipping between ambient electronica, minimal synth and house, while ambient recordings, everyday sounds and hymn-like vocals blend with reverb and distortion can place the listener within a heightened sense of place. Mid-tempo rhythms, grainy samples and warm, nostalgic synth melodies suggest faded cinematic landscapes and forgotten film soundtracks, sweeping you up in nostalgia or transporting you to places long left behind. performing live this weekend at Gran Galà Aleatorio in Genova which is dedicated to aleatory arts, to music, theatre, and poetry. @oudek.studio visuals by @cremebay by @transferansmuzik

Transferans: Subterranean Changes Vol. 3 at @errant.sound featured two performances exploring machine learning and computational approaches to sound. L’Makina by @earpolitics and live computation by @ozcanertek approached machine learning as a performative instrument, combining trained sound models with electronics, and real-time processing. Thanks to everyone who joined us and stayed for the Q&A afterwards to continue the discussion around machine listening and trained sound models. A few moments from the evening. #SubterraneanChanges #ErrantSound #SoundArt #LiveElectronics #MachineLearning #Transferans #ExperimentalMusic #BerlinArt #GillesAubry #ÖzcanErtek by @transferansmuzik
