Transforma Theatre is so grateful to be a recipient of The Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York (A.R.T./New York) 5th Cycle of New York City Small Theatres Fund.

Selected from an initial application pool of nearly 200 applications, Transforma Theatre will receive two years of flexible, general operating support to support the operations of their theatre companies. This multi-year support is instrumental in helping us achieve our goals and bring Science in Theatre to NYC. Thank you so much, @artny72 for all your support! by @transformatheatre

During the Mercury Store Residency, the team was focused on the process—what is efficient, repeatable, and sustainable for the newest version of the script. Tjaša Ferme and Heidi Boisvert analyzing volumetric capture set-up. Actors stand in front of the green screen and perform different movements captured by multiple cameras. These 3D-videos can then be used for hologram projections.

Join us at our Tech Week Happy Hour to engage and discuss with us more.

We presented My Marlene, and Transforma Theatre artistic director @tjasaferme also collaborated on performance work throughout the weekend. ❤️🌟 by @transformatheatre

So excited to post the trailer of My Marlene in the round with full dome visuals (don’t fret the falling donuts or an audience member taking his clothes off) as created with and presented at Charles Hayden Planetarium, Museum of Science in Boston. Listed as top 5 things to do this Valentine’s. Excited for more ✨✨✨
