A Tata LPO 1618 BS - 6 / EURO - VI Deluxe express homed by GSRTC's Ahmedabad depot was spotted on the interstate route between Ahmedabad and Sambhajinagar today. This was my first time spotting GSRTC's fleet! If I am not wrong, the display board, upon retrospect, was found to be sponsored by spotters. Ahmedabad <> Sambhajinagar/Aurangabad (CBS) Via: Vadodara, Surat, Songadh, Navapur, Sakri, Dhule, Chalisgaon, Kannad હમેદાબાદ <> સંભાજીનગર / ઔરંગાબાદ (CBS) વડોદરા, સુરત, સોનગઢ, નવાપુર, સાકરી, ધુલે, ચાલીસગાંઓન, કન્નડ अहमदाबाद <> संभाजीनगर / औरंगाबाद (CBS) वडोदरा, सुरत, सोंगढ, नवापूर, साक्री, धुळे, चाळीसगाव, कन्नड #buses_of_the_world #busspotting #gsrtc #interstate #ahmedabad by @transit.spotter.er

An MSRTC Ashok Leyland MG built BS-4 / EURO-IV non AC seater and sleeper, homed by Mumbai depot was spotted between Washim and Mumbai, heading to Mumbai. I think the bus has seen better days. MSRTC's fully built Ashok Leyland Oyster BS-6 / EURO-VI Lalpari (Red horse) pairs on Viking 11m chasses (I couldn't note the depot marking) were spotted on the route between Bhusawal and Tuljapur, a fairly long route via: Jamner, Ajanta, Sillod, Jalna, Ambad, Gevrai, Beed, Washi and Dharashiv/Osmanabad. 6460 was heading to Bhusawal, whereas 6459 was heading to Tuljapur. I spotted them both in Jalna by about the same time, in a 10 min interval. A fairly new non AC seater and sleeper (2+1 layout) built on an Ashok Leyland 12m Euro-6/BS-6 chassis with dual air suspension by SMK Prakash (Vega edition) of SETC (Thamizh Nadu State Express Transport Corporation), homed by Trichy depot (TRY D622) was spotted on 827 / 845 NSS Trichy <> Bengaluru <> Jeyankondam. This route follows an almost 3 day pattern, with a day halt at Jeyankondam upon arrival. 827 NSS Trichy <> Bengaluru Via: Namakkal, Salem, Dharmapuri (new bus station), Krishnagiri, Hosur Online reservation can be availed for this service at www.tnstc.in or the tnstc app. I would personally have preferred this service to be via Virudhachalam, but I am happy that this service seems to have a good patronage. An MSRTC in-house built Ashok Leyland Cheetah BS-3 (Euro-3) Lalpari bus was spotted on the very short route between Jalna and Nagewadi via: Vishal corner, Chandanzira, Toll-gate. Given that MSRTC can run this route, I would love to see them operate round-the-clock buses connecting MIDC to areas like Chandanzira (although the tea corner is sufficient), Moti Bagh, bus station and railway station. Such connectivity is not abnormal to expect of in TN and that might arguably be very useful for passengers, who can at least travel relatively safer instead of being cramped in tuk-tuks. #msrtc_st_photos #msrtc #buses_of_the_world #busspotting #jalna by @transit.spotter.er

An MSRTC Ashok Leyland Cheetah BS-3 Lalpari bus, rebuilt in-house was spotted on Jalna depot's sole interstate route to Kalaburagi/Gulbarga in North-east Karnataka (or Kalyan Karnataka), which is also KKRTC's headquarter. This service departs from Jalna by 8.30 am in the morning and travels via: Ambad, Beed, Ambajogai, Latur and Omerga. There happens to be one more service departing from Jalna by 5.30 am, travelling via Dharashiv (Osmanabad), Tuljapur and Naldurg to reach Omerga and Kalaburagi, if I am not wrong. I was quite surprised to see an old BS-3 do the route still and it would be nicer to see a newer bus on such interstate routes. According to the timetable, there also seems to be a bus service to Nizamabad by 10.30 am. When feasible, I will check both of them out.
