As the political climate worsens, we’re wrestling with how to increase safety and security measures for trans justice organizations. Many groups are debating: should they incorporate, develop a hybrid structure, operate as an LLC, or opt out of incorporated structures altogether?

In the final Webi-Nahh session, Incorporated or Nah: Explorations In Multi-Entity Structures, we will be grappling with the pros and cons of each option and if they actually provide more safety or more organizational vulnerability. Whether you’re hungry for a multi-course meal or simply want to taste a sample, this session is sure to satiate and provide a breadth of expertise that will help you navigate the landscape of these processes and make informed decisions for your organization.

This webi-nahh will be moderated by Marin Watts of TJFP and featuring Jeree Thomas, Esq. of In Defense of Movements and & Loan Tran of Rising Majority.

We are feeling incredibly full from our time together last week where we got to unpack the powerful stories we find inside of data. The conversation left us hungry for more so we are even more excited to be launching Session 2 of the 2026 Webi-Nahh series this week!

In our 2nd session, Get In Formation: Resistance Lessons From Emerging Grassroots Organizing, attendees will hear directly from visionaries representing newer formations and their recipes for getting free!

This webi-nahh will be moderated by Kayla Gore of My Sistah’s House, featuring Maryam of Kaon City Medics and Tiara Gendi of House of Esther!

TJFP is a community-run non-charitable trust, which means we can move resources easily and safely to trans-led groups in the U.S. and U.S. territories. TJFP’s Webi-Nahh series, Building Our Own Table: Recipes For Liberation and Innovative Insights by Trans Justice Visionaries, is not your typical webinar series. We like to call it an un-webinar – a relaxed, fun, and inspiring gathering for passionate individuals to learn, connect, and envision a future supporting the efforts and visions of trans justice.

Kicking off our three-part series, we are ecstatic to begin with Make It Make Cents: The Power of Data & Storytelling on May 28 3-4p ET! We are living in a time where data holds immense power and can influence tremendous change both for and against our communities.

TJFP’s grantmaking data is a treasure trove of stories and wisdom coming directly from trans folks on the ground. This webi-nahh will be moderated by Kiyomi Fujikawa and featuring Cathy Kapua and Ola Osaze!

For generations, our ancestors and chosen families have used the dinner table as a site for deep connection, healing, strategy, and political education. Imagine now gathering around a virtual table, sharing food, stories, and inspiring ideas.

That's the essence of our upcoming TJFP 3-part series—a space that’s not your typical webinar. But an un-webinar brings together passionate individuals eager to learn, connect, and envision a future supporting the efforts and visions of trans justice.

This three-week series will also include dynamic speakers who will share their experiences and strategies for fostering change and power within our communities.

Register for each session: (write all links as written)

Session 1: Make It Make Cents: The Power of Data & Storytelling | Thursday, May 28, 3pm to 4pm EST | Register here: bit.ly/webinah-may28

Session 2: Get In Formation: Resistance Lessons From Emerging Grassroots Organizing | Thursday, June 4, 1pm to 2pm EST | Register here: bit.ly/webinah-june4

Session 3: Incorporated or Nah: Explorations In Multi-Entity Structures | Thursday, June 11, 1pm to 2pm EST | Register here: bit.ly/webinah-june11

We’re also kicking off our spring fundraising campaign. If you’re so moved, please make a one-time or monthly gift to help us raise $500,000 to support TJFP! Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.

Good News! In celebration of Trans Day of Visibility, Caleb Hearon challenged his network to donate to TJFP's trust. In just 24 hours, 742 folks donated $34,403!

We are blown away by this act of love and support in the name of your loved ones. Your donation will support trans-led grassroots groups across the country and territories. Your investment in trans and gender non-conforming people will have ripple effects beyond our imagination.

Thank you Caleb Hearon and every donor! #TDOV

Happy Trans Day of Visibility family! In the words of our beloved ancestor, Miss Major, we are still here!

Trans and nonbinary folks are here to stay, actively cultivating our communities and keeping each other safe under harmful conditions. At TJFP, we empower trans leadership through moving money to trans-led groups and projects. Our model leans on trusting trans and nonbinary folks to continue being the foundation of their communities.

Today and everyday, we see you. We love you. To all of our trans kin, Happy #TDOV! by @transjusticefp
