Always Well Received!

A little trip down memory lane to reminisce about the last decade of my dear friends @transmitterbrewing in Brooklyn whom this last May celebrated 10 years of making tasty beers in New York City, because I had been traveling extensively during that time I missed the date to celebrate them properly, better late than never.

I first met Rob Kolb and Anthony Acardi back in 2014 during one of the famous brewery walking tours organized by @joshmbernstein, it was the early years of the revival of breweries in NYC, I was tagging along with Michael Kiser @mpkiser from @goodbeerhunting local legend photographer @cory_s_smith and other enthusiast and learned about one of the new comers of the local scene at the time. One of the main things that caught my attention was their focus on Belgian inspired styles, which for me was music to my ears being a big fan of these beers. After a decade they have not deviated from that etos, that is something I have a deep respect for and is one of the reasons they're one of my favorite breweries in New York.

Over all these years they have been a mandatory destination when I have out-of-town friends visiting, either at the original space underneath the Pulaski Bridge in Long Island City in Queens or at the current location at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, many friends have experienced and enjoyed their beers, a handful of bottle shares that have been pretty great have been hosted at both locations. I had documented a handful of collaborations they have done over and I have also enjoyed beers with them at several festivals around the US.

It has been pretty great to watch them grow despite all the changes and difficulties that the industry has endured over the last years, yet, their quality has maintained intact, that is very commendable.

Thank you friends for all these years of frienship and always making me feel well received, here's to many more beer, years and stories. Anthony, I will bring some tasty beers to have a small celebration when I am back in town, cheers! by @transmitterbrewing
