Welp. This is a sad one for me to write. This burger-slinging chapter is most likely coming to a close. I may try to squeeze one more in before I officially close shop, but given the holidays are fast approaching, I wanted to make sure we properly celebrated together and I got a chance to serve you once more.

This pop up brought an incredible amount of joy into my life at a time when I was looking for a positive outlet that allowed me to do one of my favorite things — connect with people (through food, of course). The new friends, the community, our loyal return customers, the conversations, the fantastic wine, the DJs, all-time great bartenders, the long nights of prep, the many hard-working people behind the other pop ups on this corner of town… I could keep going. It’s been special, it’s been an honor. I’ve taken none of it for granted. Hell, I even got to work along side a few of my closest friends. I’m lucky. Thank you for being part of this journey. I’ll be taking these memories and lessons with me as I navigate whatever’s next. From the bottom of my heart, thank you 🖤

So let’s blow it out this Friday, shall we? I can’t wait. Let’s have a good fucking time. 5pm sharp. @fonztheesomm is spinning, wine will be flowing @offhandwinebar and we may have a couple other special features.

TONIGHT! In addition to our usual fried onion smashburgers and green chile burger, we’ve whipped up wine poached pears using Offhand’s Composition 002 paired with a vanilla bean whipped cream AND a harvest salad with kale, Honeycrisp apples, shaved fennel, toasted walnuts tossed in a maple lemon vinaigrette.
