New print off the block!
~Space Prawn~
8"x10" Oil-based ink.🦐✨️
I love this one, its just been sitting on my desk unfinished for like 6 months now, for absolutely no reason. I've added some inking and handpressing process videos for your viewing pleasure! I've pulled fifteen prints to start, and they will be on the drying line for another week or two, and then ready for your walls 😉

I've missed you guys! Back from a few month market hiatus, but I had to join in on this Halloween market @5anddimepdx! 🎃 These are just a few of the different prints I'll be bringing with me. Heaters will be on, warm drinks will be poured, live dj spinning, a DOG COSTUME CONTEST, and a ton of local rad vendors. I'll be slinging some prints at some discounted prices to make room for future things and prints! See you guys tomorrow! 😈 by @trashcat.studio

New print off the drying line! Finally worked up a companion to Star Buck, the first print in my weird little furby print series. This one was a blast to carve.
I'm calling this swampy guy ✨️Furbo Bufo✨️, inspired by the common toad (Bufo Bufo). Hand-burnished on gorgeous 8"x10" Japanese Mulberry paper.

Catch this guy at some local pdx pop-up markets this month (upcoming show dates in bio) 🐸

Today! I'll be vending @holyghostbar today from 4-8. They've got some wicked cocktails and awesome food options nearby while you peruse some grade A local vendors. Help me make some table space for new prints I have in the works, and snag some hand-pressed prints for you and your friends!

When every other transfer method from sketch to lino fails, go back to the soft pencil basics. I'll slap this (scribble side down) onto the block, tape it down, and trace transfer this new swamp furby to its final linoleum resting place.
This transfer process included FOUR full redrawings of the original sketch before the carve, which is why I usually freehand on the block itself! This original swamp guy sketch was just too perfect to try to draw again on the block. Looking forward to adding to the future Furby series with this one.

Only two days away from my first street fair!
Splitting a booth with @heartfelttreasures_ , we're booth #99 by the plaza stage! So stoked. Come down to @sjbizarre on Saturday for 180+ artists and makers, a ton of food, and 8+ bands playing all day! Oh yeah, and it's going to be a perfect weather weekend here after these soggy last few weeks in PDX, so get some fresh air and grab some prints and cute needle felted sculptures! ;)

Did one final run of Black Fox with a deep red. 9"x12" oil based ink.🔥This block is now retired, and you can look forward to a new creepy animal in the works. This small varied edition of 10 will be coming with me to @sjbizarre this Saturday! I'll be bringing a ton of framed prints as well!

✨ Update, they DO look cute in these new, gold 6"x6" frames I picked up. ✨ I'm keeping one for my own wall, but there's 7 more in the edition up for grabs!

Definitely on a bit of a red ink kick at the moment. I made these cute 6"x6" prints as a varied edition of an older block, After/Life- Crow, smaller, square, and in red. This was just for fun, so it'll be a limited run of 8 in this varied edition. They're gonna look super cute framed. They're almost dry and ready to pack, message me if interested!

Not sure why I'm so obsessed with these little prints, but I am! Maybe because they're wildly different than some of the stuff I've been working on recently, both in size and style. I will definitely be making more mini prints soon, they were a blast to create. It's a limited edition of 23! Catch these prints and more at @ihimpopups @greatnotion on April 14th for a rad NW PDX popup ;)
