On this day in 1981, the epic & popular Mexican action-crime film known as “Pistoleros Famosos” (Famous Gunmen) was released in Mexico. Filming took place a year before in Monterrey, Nuevo León🇲🇽🎞️🥃🍺“Pistoleros Famosos” was a big deal when it first came out since it featured an all-star cast & also featured several popular musicians as well. This action-crime film is loosely based on real Mexican outlaws & how they became legends (or “famous”) throughout regional Mexico.
