I’m posting me because I’m proud of me 💐🤎

I’m not just hair. I am Tronisha. Also Laryssa’s mom. I like outside, it’s better with your feet in the grass. My birthday is 11/16 ♏️. I like reality TV 🤷🏾‍♀️. I’m proud of my ancestry. I come from good people. 🫶🏾🙏🏾🤎💪🏾 I love every bit of me, flaws and all 🤎 Which makes it easier to love thy neighbor. Just treat people right.

Grateful for where I have been. Grateful for where I am & grateful for where I am going.

Above all, I’m grateful to God for His grace, His guidance, and the love that continues to cover me. 🙏🏾🤎

I really, really, really love what I do. 🤎

As I find my lane in this content creator life, I keep something my fifth-grade teacher, Mrs. Hawkins, taught me in mind: KISS.

Although Mrs. Hawkins said, “Keep it simple, stupid,” we’re not doing that today.

Keep it simple, sis. 😂

Everything doesn’t have to be a production. Just post the darn picture and let the work speak for itself. The lighting may not be perfect, but the beauty of the color still comes through.

Thank you, Mrs. Hawkins. The lesson still stands. 💕

My mother always says, “Fair exchange is no robbery,” and this was one of those moments. I came to pour into the future professionals at Tricoci University, and they poured right back into me.

My client gets to leave showing off her cut, the compliments start rolling in, she feels good, I feel good, and somebody new may end up behind Tra’s chair. Everybody wins. The message at the end says it all. 🙌🏾

The pictures started with that chair, but the journey started long before that.

I remember sitting in the kitchen while my grandmom curled my hair for Easter. Then came Miss Vernadine, Miss Brendae, Andrea, Tonya, Lisa, and so many others who taught me and poured into me along the way. And of course, my mom, who has been there through all of it.

To everyone who has worked beside me, sat in my chair, trusted me with their hair, supported The Parlour Room, or walked through any part of this journey with me, thank you.

Every lesson, every space, every opportunity, and every person helped lead me to this moment. This may be my journey, but I didn’t get here by myself.

I carry a little piece of all of you with me into every room I enter.

When I first stepped onto the vivid scene, I would always say I wasn’t a vivid artist. The truth was, I just needed placement to make sense.
