Residential and Commercial Interior Design in Jackson Hole and beyond.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

MEET: KRISTIN FAY. As a Partner, and lead designer, for Trauner Fay Designs since 2015, my main focus is getting to know our clients and gaining a deeper understanding of how they live and work. I am dedicated to creating and designing beautiful spaces that are unique to each client’s needs, budget and lifestyle. As a certified member of ASID and IIDA, I believe strongly in continuing to grow my skills as well as improving the quality of my chosen profession. My interest in interior design began as a child growing up in Jackson Hole. I earned a degree in interior, fashion and textile design at the University of Wyoming. After graduation, I gained valuable knowledge and experience working for a design firm in Scottsdale, AZ. Eventually, after several years of city life, I felt the tug of family and mountain living and moved back to my hometown to the surroundings I love so much. by @traunerfaydesigns

MEET: TERRY TRAUNER
As a Co-Founder of Trauner Fay Designs in 1997, I am excited to combine my passion for design with my business, financial and organizational expertise for one overriding purpose – to ensure that our clients receive the impeccable service care and attention they deserve – every time on every project. I have worked hard to earn a reputation built on honesty, integrity, communication and service. While I enjoy working with clients on design matters, much of my work goes on behind the scenes – working with vendors, suppliers, shippers, bankers and others to make sure our talented team has all the support it needs to turn artistic vision into practical reality. I work on and/or oversee every one of our projects to ensure we get it right. by @traunerfaydesigns

Honored to have played a part in refreshing the iconic Snake River Grill, a true Jackson Hole landmark. 🤎

The beauty of this space lies in its character — rich, timeworn logs, warm wood tones, deep navy drapery, and olive-green banquette seating, all framed by the incredible mountain views beyond. Thoughtful details and layered textures help preserve the restaurant’s signature rustic charm while giving it a refreshed, timeless feel.

Updating a space with so much history is about honoring what makes it special while thoughtfully carrying it forward. We’re grateful to have been part of this project and to contribute to a place that has meant so much to our Jackson Hole community.

A beautiful balance of warmth, texture, and timeless mountain living. From the natural wood beams to the layered fabrics and thoughtful details, every element comes together to create a space that feels both refined and inviting. Paired with the vibrant fall foliage just beyond the windows, it’s the perfect setting to embrace the beauty of the season. 🍂 🍃 by @traunerfaydesigns

Just completed: Where timeless mountain architecture meets thoughtful design. This recently completed home is a study in natural materials, warm textures, and intentional details—creating a space that feels both refined and rooted in its surroundings. A beautiful reflection of the way we love to design: honoring the landscape while creating a home that feels personal, welcoming, and built to be lived in.

A chapter we never expected to close. 💔
These photos are hard to look at, but they’re part of our story. What started as a devastating loss has become a reminder of just how much our business means to us—not because of the walls, fabrics, or beautiful things inside, but because of the people, relationships, memories, and dreams that filled that space.

We are still here. We are still creating. And now, we’re incredibly excited to share that we’ve officially signed a lease on a new space! 🤍

A new chapter is beginning, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead. There is so much to rebuild, reimagine, and create—and we can’t wait to bring you along for the journey. ✨ by @traunerfaydesigns

The secret to a beautiful home??

It feels like these days, thanks to social media, we are constantly being flooded with gorgeous custom homes, perfectly curated furniture, and stunning designs. And trust me, I love them too.
But after years of doing this, I've found the most beautiful homes all have one thing in common, and it's something that's hard to capture through a photo.

They feel lived in.

The most stunning spaces are not just placeholders filled with things for the sake of aesthetics. They are filled with pieces that are actually used, loved, and thoughtfully organized in a way that fits the people living there and the lifestyle they actually have, not just one designed for a picture. 🤍 @arrange.jacksonhole by @traunerfaydesigns

Grateful for another beautiful install, even on a smoky morning. Some days the views are hidden, but it’s a good reminder that there’s always something to appreciate—the craftsmanship, the incredible team behind it, and the opportunity to bring another vision to life. Every project and everyday is a blessing. by @traunerfaydesigns
