What are you waiting for? 👀

Whilst we love off grid adventures and wild spots on a campervan trip, whenever we book a campsite we always turn to the @candmclub because we KNOW we’re guaranteed a spacious pitch, spotless facilities, and a decent hot shower! We originally joined when we realised just how much easier it makes planning road trips, and we’ve stayed members ever since for the sheer peace of mind (we have visited some incredible places thanks to their locations too!).

If you’ve been thinking about joining, now is the absolute best time: when you sign up, you’ll instantly get a voucher for a free night to use between October and December 2026! 🍂

So, if you’re already a member then send this to your friends so you both get a free night (there’s no limit on how many refer a friends you can do! 👀). Or, if you want us to be your “recommend a friend” feel free to drop us a DM ☺️

the perfect place to spend an evening ☺️

hanging out in our van in bed with the doors open is literally our favourite thing in the world, and if that sounds like you then follow us @travelbysunlight 🚐

10/10 for spooky effort 👻🐾

Dougie took his trick or treating duties very seriously this year, and hit the jackpot with his @forthglade and @lickimat haul!

Enrichment and mental stimulation are important for our dogs all year round, but especially this time of year when the doorbell is going more often, fireworks might be starting and your walks might be slightly shorter due to the clocks going back! Using Dougie’s favourite @forthglade food on his @lickimat is a great way to fill him up with nutritious goodness whilst also keeping his mind busy 😋

The best campervan pup 🥹

These are some of the things that we have done to help all three of us have a positive experience, and to help Dougie feel safe and comfortable on the road!

I think it’s really wise to think about whether travelling in a campervan is something that would suit your dog and their own specific personality, but hopefully some of the above helps you too!

Send this to someone who’s considering van life with their dog and follow @travelbysunlight to keep up with Dougie’s travels!
