Most newsletters are just... sent and then forgot about.

I started doing audits because there are too many smart talented people in my inbox sending newsletters every week with zero idea what was actually landing.

Here's what happens when you book an audit:

1. You forward me your latest newsletter and let me know your avg open and click through rate

2. I stalk you on the internet. Because 80% of your newsletter content is already done and I want to know if you're actually using it. I'll present you with a few strategic ways you can use what you've already created in your newsletter to move people further into your world.

3. Then I go to your actual newsletter, make some notes on what's working and what's not, and hit record on a 5-10 min async video you can watch and re watch and watch at 2 am when you miss the sound of my voice 😉

I'm so excited to do this because the internet was asking for it and I was craving it.

Soooo....LET ME READ YOUR SHIT!!!! Comment or DM me "AUDIT" and I'll get you personalized feedback in 48 hours. 📨 by @travelcontentwriting

I ran my training on how to send an email as easy as sending a text. 📩

You asked loads of questions, so I’m answering them here. Email FAQ, coming at you. 👀

Save this one for the next time you’re staring at a blank draft.

Which email question is keeping you stuck? Drop it below 👇

AND REMINDER!!!! I can audit your emails! For $75 and a 48 hr turnaround time. I’m accepting five more audits this October.

Travel creators, do you actually know how much you make per hour? 👀

—

Be honest. Most of us pick a number that sounds good, copy what someone else charges, and hope for the best. Wild West vibes. 🤠

In Ep 143 I’m joined by profit strategist @Michelledenioconsulting to talk about pricing based on actual numbers (not vibes, not $997 because it “sounds nice”).

We cover:

💸 The hidden hours you’re forgetting to charge for

💸 How to tell if a client is actually costing you money

💸 Why hitting capacity doesn’t always mean “just raise your prices”

💸 Project work vs retainers

I changed one of my own prices after using Michelle’s calculator, and I’m about to run the numbers on my biggest projects. Yikes. 😬

Happy October! 🍂 Let’s talk Email Town for a sec.

One of my clients segmented her list by offer, instead of blasting everyone the same thing, she tagged people by what they actually cared about. Result? A 62% open rate and a 10.7% click-through rate. 👀

Emojis are not just cute. Her open rates jumped 9% when she used one.

If you’re still sending one email to your whole list... this is your sign. 📩 by @travelcontentwriting

Want your newsletter looked at before you send out allll your BFCM emails? October is your month!!!

Here’s how it works: you send me your newsletter, and I send you back a video of me actually walking through it. I’ll tell you what you’re doing really well, because there’s always something, and where you’re losing clicks without realizing it.

It’s stuff like images that open in Google Drive instead of taking people somewhere, or so many CTAs that your reader does nothing. Small things that are easy to fix once someone points them out.

So if your open rates are fire but nobody’s clicking, let’s get your newsletter in tip top money making shape.

Your email list is the one audience you actually own, and it's the one you talk to the least. 💀

My done-for-you newsletter retainer is $600/month. I handle the strategy, the writing, and the sending, all in your voice. You just approve!

I have two start dates open: Nov 2nd and Nov 9th.

Let this be your lil wake up call...🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

You say you don't need an email list buttttt one "algorithm" change, one bad month of reach, one lil IG hack (one is hacked every 10 mins BTW) and your whole audience is gone.... you can't take your followers with you.

Your email list is the only audience you actually own. It's the thing that lets you make a sale on a random Wednesday without posting.

In case you are new here, I offer DFY email marketing services. The reality is I create stunning packages for creators and business owners (like rn I have a $75 newsletter audit with a 48 hour turnaround) but I do a ton of custom work because not every email list is created equal.

If your email list has been on your back burner long enough to start a house fire, that's what my DFY services are for.

Community can make such an impact on your business

That’s one of the things @travelcontentwriting and I chatted about during her collaborator feature!

Tune in wherever you listen to podcasts to hear about her business journey, the business trip that changes everything, and find out what she’s bringing to The Guest House!

Comment “RETREAT” and I’ll send you all the details on The Guest House and how you can join us during the retreat October 12-15!

40 strangers. A tent. A completely unhinged TikTok idea.

@maddyoutdoors.coach moved to Lake Tahoe knowing nobody, so she posted a TikTok asking, “What if we got a bunch of single people together and went camping?” The internet said yes. One week: 4,000+ people. Two weeks: 40 strangers in the Nevada desert. Outsiders Together was born.

This week we’re breaking down how to turn a following into a real community people pay to be part of.
