TUPAC WAS SHOT HERE 5 TIMES!

November 30, 1994, Tupac walked into this New York lobby at Quad Studios with 3 gunman following him inside.

They pulled guns to rob his Jewellery, Tupac went to grab his gun retusing to be robbed, as he did that he was shot 5 times!

Even though an East VS Coast war was already brewing, this was the catalyst of it becoming a dangerous war.

After being shot, Tupac went into the elevator and went upstairs to Quad Studios where biggie, puffy and others were.

Tupac felt he was set up by Haitian Jack who was his co-defendant in the sexual assault case he was going through.

Although he never said biggie was responsible for the shooting, he was upset that biggie didn’t warn him he was being set up. taken in Quad Recording Studios NYC by @travelwith2pac

📍 2PAC IN LOS ANGELES — THEN VS NOW (1993) 🎤

Back in 1993, Tupac was filmed on the streets of Los Angeles near Seneca Avenue for a segment on Yo! MTV Raps.

Over 30 years later, we can revisit the very same location and see how much has changed and what still remains.

🎥 Slide 1: Original footage of 2Pac from Yo! MTV Raps.

📸 Slide 2: A still of Tupac captured during the segment.

📍 Slide 3: The same location today, with the surrounding streetscape and landmarks offering a fascinating comparison. You can still see the light pole is the exact same one as 1993!

It’s incredible being able to pinpoint these locations decades later and connect the footage we grew up watching to the real streets where hip-hop history happened.

A big thankyou to @mr_mkvli1 for find this location and sharing it with me. All credit goes to him 🙏🔥 taken in Los Angeles, California by @travelwith2pac

“I SEE MYSELF CHANGING THE WORLD” 🕊️

In this powerful 1996 interview with VIBE magazine, 2Pac is asked where he sees himself in 20 years.

I love his response..

He speaks about changing the world, about how differently he thinks, and about the impact he believes he’s destined to make.

What makes this footage so emotional is knowing that 2Pac would never get those 20 years.

Just months later, his life would be cut tragically short at only 25 years old.

And yet, 30 years later, his words, music and message continue to influence millions around the world.

He never got the 20 years he hoped for, but in so many ways, he did change the world.

2PAC’S SISTER SPEAKS IN COURT 💔

An incredibly powerful and emotional moment as Tupac’s younger sister, Sekyiwa “Set” Shakur, delivers her victim impact statement in court.

Speaking from the heart, Set reflects on how Tupac’s fight began before he even entered the world.

She speaks about their mother, Afeni Shakur, who was fighting for her freedom while pregnant with Tupac, and how her brother was born into a life of struggle, strength and resilience.

It’s a beautiful reminder that before Tupac became a global icon, a revolutionary voice and a legend, he was a son, a brother and a human being whose life meant so much to those closest to him. ❤️ taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @travelwith2pac

2PAC: THEN VS. NOW
31 YEARS LATER! 🕊️

October 12, 1995 - Dannemora, New York.

Ever wondered what the exact location where Tupac was photographed celebrating his release from prison looks like today?

31 years ago, Tupac stood alongside Big Syke beside a white limousine, just outside Clinton Correctional Facility, moments after regaining his freedom.

Fast forward to today, and we’ve tracked down the location of this iconic photograph thanks to @mr_mkvli1 for sending it through.

What’s incredible is how much of the surrounding area is still recognisable. The buildings visible behind Tupac in 1995 can still be identified more than three decades later.

📸 Swipe through the four images:

1️⃣ Then vs. Now — The original 1995 photograph compared with the same street today.

2️⃣ October 12, 1995 — The original photograph of Tupac and Big Syke beside the limousine.

3️⃣ Present Day — A wider view of the street, revealing the buildings still standing today.

31 YEARS AGO TODAY
2PAC WALKS OUT OF PRISON! 🕊️

📅 October 12, 1995

On this day in 1995, Tupac walked out of Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, New York, after spending approximately eight months behind bars.

With his bail arranged through Death Row Records, Tupac was finally free.

These photographs capture the historic moments following his release, from the white stretch limousine to the private jet waiting to take him to Los Angeles.

Among those pictured are fellow rapper and close friend Big Syke and Yaasmyn Fula, the mother of Outlawz member Yaki Kadafi.

The photographs offer an incredible glimpse into Pac’s first hours of freedom, with drinks, cash and celebrations aboard the aircraft.

Reflecting on his release, Tupac later recalled:

“When I got out of jail, he had a private plane for me, a limo, five police officers for security.”

— 2Pac, speaking about Suge Knight in VIBE magazine.

Within 24 hours of arriving in Los Angeles, Tupac was already back in the studio making songs, recording at an unbelievable pace.

His release marked the beginning of his legendary Death Row Records era, which would produce All Eyez on Me and some of the most iconic music of his career.

Sadly, less than 11 months later, Tupac would be gone.

October 12, 1995.. the beginning of a legendary final chapter. 🕊️

* Fun fact,
Ambitionz As A Ridah was the first song he recorded within 24 hours after getting out of prison on October 13. taken in Clinton Correctional Facility by @travelwith2pac

2PAC AT VENICE BEACH 1995 vs TODAY

Walking in 2Pac’s footsteps at Venice Beach..

In 1995, after his release from prison, 2Pac walked along the beachfront during an interview. So I brought the footage up on my phone to compare it with the same spot today.

Look closely at the tattoo shop and the buildings behind him they’re still recognisable all these years later.
