Thank you Petoskey, Kalkaska, Traverse City, Frankfort, Bellaire & Charlevoix 🌞 for huge support across all our ventures by @traversecitydanceproject

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us across Northern Michigan and helped make this our biggest summer tour yet. ❤️

If you attended one of our performances, we’d love to hear from you! Please take a few minutes to complete our audience survey. Your feedback helps us improve future programming, demonstrate our impact, and strengthen our grant applications.

We also want to give a huge THANK YOU to Danielle Simpson, who generously donated a car to TCDP! 🚙 Our dancers used it throughout this summer’s tour, and it will continue to support our artists and programs for years to come. Danielle, we are incredibly grateful for your generosity! @delromson

As we wrap up our 15th Anniversary Summer Tour, please consider helping us finish the season strong with an end-of-summer gift. Every donation—$25, $50, $100, $500, or whatever amount is meaningful to you—helps us pay our artists and production team, create new work, bring performances to communities across the region, and keep professional dance accessible throughout Northern Michigan.

Our 2026 Summer Tour was officially our largest-attended summer tour to date, bringing professional dance and live music to communities across Northern Michigan—from Kalkaska and Bellaire to Frankfort, Charlevoix, Traverse City, and Petoskey!

This year, we were especially excited to add two new tour stops in Bellaire and Petoskey, reaching new audiences and continuing to grow TCDP’s presence throughout the region.

But this summer was about so much more than what happened onstage. We shared meaningful post-show Q&As with our dancers, choreographers, and musicians, offered free dance classes for local children, and created opportunities for audiences of all ages to connect directly with our artists.

For 15 seasons, our mission has remained at the heart of everything we do: bringing exceptional professional dance to Northern Michigan and making it accessible to everyone. All but one of our performances were completely FREE to the public—and your support makes that possible.

As we close this milestone season, please consider making an end-of-summer gift to TCDP. Every donation—$25, $50, $100, $500 or whatever is meaningful to you—helps us employ professional artists, create new work, reach more communities, and keep dance accessible.

❤️ Help us celebrate 15 incredible seasons and begin the next 15.

And if you missed us this summer, stay tuned! We’ll soon be sharing a recording of our 2026 Summer Tour performance so you can experience the season from wherever you are.

Thank you to every artist, audience member, donor, sponsor, volunteer, and community partner who made this our biggest summer yet. We couldn’t do it without you.
