I really don’t know what to say or how to express losing someone so special in my life. When you lose a brother like Mando Santa Anna, you lose a piece of who you are. You lose a rock you could always count on. A man that genuinely cared how you were and always made you feel better after a phone call or one of his famous selfies. His smile was contagious and he’d give you the shirt off his back. I miss my friend, my brother and my teammate. Rest in Peace my brother. Another fall season in the books for the Iowa Select 2026 Scout Team. This song is too fitting for this group of young ball players. It would be real easy for them to play selfishly as they will all play college baseball at some level. But they buy into a team mentality and play for their teammates and common goals. This is so important at any level and will pay dividends in the long run for them and colleges noticed. Made bracket at the WWBA Underclass worlds but Hurricane Milton had different plans and cut the tournament short. I feel terrible for them as they continue to turn heads. This Iowa team went to Florida and handled some top future college arms as they have all fall. I love you boys. You work hard, handle an ass chewing with the best of them, and continue to learn the game. You’re never bigger than the game. Remember that. Thank you to all the boys and parents that let their sons chase a dream and goal! And to my son Maddux. Im so damn proud of what you’re achieving. Keep doing things right, Keep working and respecting the game and it will give you so much in your life. Onto the off-season! by @travis_mueller_tmule
