I’m finding myself more and more passionate about #volunteering my time to help people in need and animals more than my #tailoring job as of late. But it’s thanks to my clients and the tailoring world that help me pay for these type of events that I #volunteer in.

This is me in #Tijuana with @bajaspayneuter event helping make sure that animals qualify to be under the knife, passing out coloring books in English and Spanish from @obolpaws to children so that they start off on the right track caring for animals, and #translating for things such as #C-sections to save 4 beautiful #puppies (and I’m not even a veterinarian!).

We were up and at it for almost 24 hours and right after I donated a carload of medical #donations to @notjusttourists_oc

Things like this, make me feel very fulfilled, even though these projects are extremely underfunded and it doesn’t pay me a dime.

Please consider donating to keep these projects going. We spayed and neutered almost 70 animals with no breaks!

Thank you Team!

Whenever we travel abroad we bring multiple suitcases filled with medications and supplies for the animals.

But in case you didn't already know @wufaw_official ALWAYS brings supplies for humans, too.

On our trip to Cuba in May we even traveled with a wheelchair, knowing how difficult they are to come by on the island.

The wheelchair had an adventure along with us. Dr Dahlberg @chevellemybelle used it as a seat during an emergency surgery at our #airbnb and came with us to the countryside, where we were introduced to a veterinarian by Dr Felix @felixgigatodelanuez whose sister, Yamira, was in need.

Thank you to everyone who donated towards our trip. YOU changed Yamira’s life.

Another successful trip in the books.

88 dogs and cats - Spayed and Neutered 🐾
267 vaccinated for Rabies 💉
600+ treated for fleas and parasites 🦠

200+ collars, harnesses & leashes handed out
600+ lbs of dog and cat food delivered

1000s of $$$ of medications and supplies given to local rescues and veterinarians

Countless people and animals we got to know and love ❤️

Thank you all for your support so that we can continue to provide such desperately needed care. 🙌🏼👊🏼✅

We will be heading back next April. Mark your calendars 📅

On our 2nd day in Pinar Del Rio we hosted a spay and neuter event with our local vet friends @felixgigatodelanuez @rossy_kitty19 and Dr Yosbany. 🇨🇺

Students from a vet school also joined to observe and assist Dr Jessica @chevellemybelle 🐾🙌🏼

Two of our team members @muttmatchmaker and @jennsavespaws had food poisoning and couldn’t join us 😢

But the day was a success overall with 33 dogs and cats being sterilized 💯✅

On the way back to the #airbnb Dr Jessica noticed a stray dog limping on the street, injured and suffering. She gave him some food and asked Dr Felix if he would take the pup to his clinic for a possible amputation.

First thing in the morning, as we were leaving for the airport @felixgigatodelanuez took the pup home. A couple of hours later we got a call that Dr Felix, the dog wouldn’t need surgery because he and his family had fallen in love and were going to adopt the pup. Providing him rehab instead. 🥳🥳🫶🏽🫶🏽
