To say I am “proud” would be a gross understatement.
To my brilliant nephew @travisandr3, we are ELATED at all you have achieved and EXCITED for all that awaits you next!

You’ve worked so very hard and it has all paid off. It’s been a blessing to witness your growth! KUDOS to your incredible parents for their continual love, support, encouragement AND financial lessons! 😆 💰

To the Zeta Epsilon chapter, held as the RoKK chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, thank you for molding me into a leader, achiever, and better brother. I couldn’t ask to be a part of a more extraordinary chapter than this one. Every lesson, conversation, and bond created will be cherished when I cross that stage. I’m thankful for the opportunities as Guide Right Chairman, Vice Polemarch, and Polemarch, and I wouldn’t trade my experiences for the world.

To the undergrad brothers, cherish your time on the yard and go get what you want. If you want to be student body president, go for it. If you want to be the best chapter, go get it. I am proud to have seen you guys grow, and I can’t wait to see what you all do in the future.

To K.U.L.T.U.R.E., my 6 additional brothers, it’s crazy that 3 years ago I didn’t know all of you, but to have brothers that I can call at any hour of any day and ones that if my foot slippeth or my tongue curseth my brothers held me up. I love y’all boys and we will continue our legacy of achievement in every field of human endeavor!

On December 16, 2024, I will be an official graduate and alumnus of the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Computer Engineering. I remember being told I would switch my major after one year, but God. Now, 4.5 years later, after struggles, triumphs, failures, successes, and everything else that comes with being an undergrad, I completed the race.

To everyone I have shared a memory with over these 4.5 years, thank you. Thank you for countless conversations filled with laughs, smiles, and the creation of unbreakable bonds.

To my family, thank you for always believing in me and allowing me to grow, as it has shaped me to be the man walking across the stage. Thank you for showing me what it means never to give up, no matter how difficult the goal, dream, or task may be. Thank you for surrounding me with love and showing me what that looks like, no matter the relationship. Thank you for instilling that I’m unique and different and don't have to be like anyone else.

Lastly, to myself, the race is not won by the swift nor the battle won by the strong, but he who endures till the end. You have grown in ways that you couldn't imagine. You have fallen countless times but never gave in or up. You didn't conform to anyone else’s ideals and stayed true to yourself. I'm proud of you, and the journey is just beginning!
