As a Christian who has a voice and has social media platforms to use my voice, I feel like god is telling me that I need to share about this subject. Mental health is a serious thing. It affects how we feel, think, and act as we cope with life. It helps how we relate to one another, and the choices we make. As I continue to see a bunch of baseball players take their life’s, don’t be afraid to reach out. I promise you there’s plenty of people who are willing to talk to you and love you. Don’t fix a temporary problem with a permanent solution. Everyone has a purpose on this earth, and don’t cut the beautiful gift of life that god gave you short. No matter what battles you’re going through, god is right there every step of the way. As it says in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” Do not be scared of the obstacles that this dirty and cruel world throws at you. Trust me, I myself have been through a rough patch, it’s not worth letting the devil take over, and letting him win. Again please do not be afraid to reach out, you are loved. by @travislreid
