Three weeks ago, I lost my dad to Alzheimer’s.

It hurts. I miss him every day, and yes, it makes me sad. But at the same time, I feel grateful, proud, and stronger because I had him in my life. I’m also incredibly thankful for my beautiful and strong mom, who has been there through it all.

Life is precious. Cherish your loved ones. Give them that extra hug, check in on them, spend time with them, and let them know how much they mean to you.
