Let me begin with thanking everyone that urged me to get back into basketball. My love for the game had faded and didn’t give me the joy it once did. I must also thank @elmontmemorialhs @kdoc24 for believing in me and providing opportunities and support for which I will forever be indebted. Lastly I have to thank every player I coached last season. YOU all made me realize that my role has evolved from player to trainer/coach and I’ll be forever grateful for reigniting my passion for the game! @elmont_basketball

I don’t even post things like this but this right here felt more than necessary… I would be lying if I ever said I saw my self coaching basketball. Just wasn’t something I had in mind fr. But these kids right here changed my life! The last 5 months getting to know you guys and coach you guys, y’all don’t even understand what y’all did for me & I thank y’all for bringing me back to the game of basketball. So I can’t thank this team enough. Went from 5-14 to 16-7 in one year. My boys bought in and even though coach was buggin out most practices😂, they didn’t fold not one time. We fell 2 games short of our goal of being County Champs, and nobody believed in us but us in that locker room. Thank you guys for blessing me with this first year of coaching experience and Im forever grateful! Whatever y’all need you know I’m one call away. taken in Elmont, New York by @travmf_
