Been working on my #66squareback alittle lately. Decided to tear down the motor I have for it. Figured it would need a complete rebuild since it’s been sitting outside for at least 6 years. Crazy, I tore it down and didn’t break one fin on the cylinders, not one ring was rusted to the cylinder, and the damn thing spins so freely and the lifter bounce right back. I ran a ball hone thru the cylinder and they look almost as good as new. VWs always amaze me. I’m gonna reseal this bitch and throw it back together. On that note the carbs are junk, lol. Can’t have a great hand every deal. #thelittleshopthatcould #puttinginwork #gfk602 #thefolks by @trayled

Made a deal with my boy @gfk602 for this #okrasa motor out of his #59vw. Complete and ready to stab into my next early car. Anyone got a decent 53 “oval” hard top for sale or trade? Hit me up. #gfk602 #gfk #germanfolks #thefolks #thelittleshopthatcould #oldspeed #vintagespeed #restocustom by @trayled
