I aim to inspire people to get active so they can enjoy the same benefits that I do from an active lifestyle, which are almost limitless.

I talk about how I had to overcome an identity crisis, depression, and substance abuse after a career-ending injury. I share how being sent out of town for a job ended up being a turning point, leading me to get serious about fitness and completely transform my life. My training is not about chasing medals or prizes, but about becoming the best version of myself.

New kicks and a quick six 👟 🏃‍♂️

Super pumped about these shoes. Adidas Adizero EVO SL

Very responsive. I felt fast(er)! A little less stable than my Brooks Adrenaline 24s but not so bad I can’t get used to them. No hotspots at all. No foot pain, no joint pain. Overall very pleased.

Logan took home GOLD!!!! This girl here came out like a beast and left like one!!! She had her Daddy for her coach and said she LOVED it!! O- Dog participated in his first competition and he freaking killed it!! He stepped on the mats without any hesitation (later on telling me he pinky promised Daddy and sis that he wouldn’t cry). BIG things like this have always stirred up some anxiety and why wouldn’t it! There were hundreds of spectators! Including our teammates,Professors and coaches there cheering on our crew. He’s already ready to do another!
If you’ve ever had the thought of getting your kid to step on that mat I promise you won’t regret it! It builds their confidence, lets them know how to take care of themselves and others,plus gives them discipline at home, on the mat or wherever you are.

Don’t miss out on the benefits of a long run just because this guy is convincing you not to run.

Running long distance will not cause these problems. Becoming an elite marathon runner might but you can run long distance and not look like this or have health issues. Similarly you can do power lifting workouts and not be fat. You can do bodybuilding workouts and not look like elite bodybuilders. It depends on your goals and what you want out of it. by @treecekid

There is something special about being a complete beginner at something. You have no idea what you’re doing but the spark is there. You know that if you keep showing up eventually you will see progress. Right now, I’m just trying to keep my hands up and learn the fundamentals. But mentally? I’m running up those steps in Philadelphia. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to try that new workout or hobby you’ve been putting off, consider this it. Put the work in, enjoy the process, and let the results follow. 🥊💯

This was in a hotel on our road trip from Texas to Cali. We almost got kicked out of the hotel the night before for doing the same thing (having too much fun). My wife was trying to keep us in check 😂 by @treecekid
