hi. i'm cas, but around here i go by treefroot 🐝

i'm a wife and a mama first. my days are full of little hands, dog hair, cold coffee, and more unfinished to-do lists than i'd like to admit.

there was a season when i didn't feel like myself at all. i was just getting through the day, and the joy felt far away. cozy games became one of the quiet ways i found my way back. building something small and pretty when everything else felt heavy. a garden, a little cottage, a world that asked nothing of me.

so that's what i want this space to be. somewhere soft to land. gentle streams, cozy builds, getting things done together in the hive when you can't make yourself start alone, and honest talk about mental health and real life. no pretending here.

if you're tired, you're welcome. if you're healing, you're welcome. if you just want to hang out and watch someone decorate a tiny house for two hours, you're SO welcome.

it's the simple things that bring us back 💛

come say hi and tell me what game feels like home to you!!

✨ MY GAME OF THE YEAR ✨

my husband and I played through split fiction as soon as it came out earlier this year! It is for sure my favorite title co-op game in history so far out of all the games I’ve played!

If you haven’t given this co-op cozy, adventurous RPG game a try you definitely should.

hi friends 🐝 i’m so happy you’re here!! allow me to (re) introduce myself!!

welcome to my page!! my little corner of the internet. this space started as a tiny dream in my notes app… a place where people could slow down, breathe, and remember they’re not alone, and also talk about the hard things!!

i’ve spent a lot of my life feeling like i had to hold everything together; through grief, anxiety, postpartum depression, and all the messy, in-between parts of growing up.

but somewhere along the way, i realized healing doesn’t have to look perfect. sometimes it looks like sitting with your dog in the sunlight. sometimes it’s playing animal crossing after a long day. sometimes it’s choosing kindness when your heart feels heavy.

that’s what i wanna be about ~ cozy gaming, real life, and the little things that make it all feel worth it.

you’ll find:
🎮 slow, cozy games that feel like a hug (animal crossing, the sims, stardew valley)
🫶 honest thoughts on recovery, faith, and motherhood
🌷 simple joys: soft mornings, favorite things, dogs, laughter, light
this isn’t a highlight reel. it’s a gentle one.
a space for softness, healing, and joy, even when life is hard.

so if you need a safe place to land, or just want to smile at something cozy before bed come on in, the waters fineeee!!

i hope you’ll stay awhile. you matter so much here!! 🌸
