Lessons from the road.. just go and do. Visit friends, tell them you love them.be grateful always even during hardships.. all in about 4200 miles. Whenever I see Monolake coming down the grade I know I’m getting close to being over on a trip. And then when I drive into the crap traffic, I’m reminded of the choices I make in living in Southern California.? and then I get home to see my blackberry bush giving me presents on arrival.. everything is a gift. To love is to wish goodwill onto the other. Go do and be and spread the word of who you are. by @trehse2

Running a little tired, the bed in treehouse too, and I didn’t get along this time. It made my way from Oregon to Reno to see my great friends, Gene and Joyce in their beautiful home in the woods of Lake Tahoe. Also had a chance to spend time with my heartfelt friens Sue. I asked you to say a prayer for her. Of course, a trip to Lake Tahoe is always better when you go by Garwood’s for lunch and dream about owning a beautiful Reva and then Home it was 550 miles in one day in an RV I guess this old horse was ready for the stable. Thanks for following along. Hope you enjoyed parts of my trip until we meet again.! by @trehse2

Loaded up and ready to leave sea perch near yachats, Or. in realizing I had a problem with my rear axle to spending four days in Florence trying to get it fixed, making the best of time by getting out on the dunes of Oregon in UT to final repairs and heading off towards Reno on the last leg, but before that a stop at Casey’s Café in Eugene, which isperfect Americana and represents the good old USA well by @trehse2

Well, I can’t sit around for too long a day and a half that’s plenty and decide to go ahead and drive the Treehouse too headed towards Florence and look what I get along the way beautiful views like this. It’s all worth it no bad days.!! by @trehse2

There will be days like this. Treehouse too momentum has stopped with a bad rear axle seal. This is forced me to stay and suffer with this beautiful view of the Oregon coast until Monday when the garage in the next town will be open. Hopefully we get it fixed in the next few days. In the meantime, Mr. Vespa comes back off as I’m running low on sundowner material. OK I’ll check back in with you when I have a RV that runs again. If you face your challenges with resiliency and some joy, they often don’t seem so bad when they are history. Keep on trucking because there will always be days like this. by @trehse2

Ferried to Victoria City and toured Buchart Gardens…Pictures will never do it justice but let me say, it’s a must visit.Becca took care of the old guys with the details and the ice cream.def need to go back and spend a few days in Victoria city..Jim came home from commercial fishing in time to receive his new tractor..Boys and their toys! by @trehse2

This was a full week..more to come on a 2nd post. Arrival to port Townsend I found Fat Smittys burgers ..set the tone for Port Angeles with there Ehmans and guindons. New house build for mark and Maryann on 20 acres and Becca and Jim build on their 10 acres..Wonderful nice town meeting Becca’s friends and enjoying the nature of the area..next ferry to Victoria city..After 31 years of sleeping 5-6 hours a night, Im now getting 8-10..Mmmmm by @trehse2

Each dawn is a new beginning..what’s a wonderful life! Camano Island to Port Angeles where dear friends await.from hikes w Becca , Pablo and roast to helping mark and Maryann with their new Air BNB …let the good times roll with all of us on the shores of lake crescent ending w tunes by a young woman from Encinitas! A freak heat wave hitting 104 in WA? To the soothing shade of Johnny Creek in Icicle canyon in the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, WA onward to Camano Island to visit Dillon and Glo on the beautiful Port Susan. BTW. Dillon was a mentor to me in my financial career for over 30 years..I owe much to his wisdoms..next, onward to Port Angeles via few try from Coupeville..a great week riding down the hiway! by @trehse2

Great day in Idaho, family farms, instead of cell phones the kids show up with their parents at the fairgrounds. Pee-wee‘s are racing, and the parents are racing. Good stuff.! by @trehse2
