Process reel for the brushed aluminum dolphin. Starting by scoring and cutting a sheet of corrugated polypropylene and then folding it to form the body. The edges were painted neon pink to give them extra visual interest once the aluminum was applied. The laminated aluminum dibond panels were cut using a V bit and scored for some of the bends, the smaller parts were onion-skinned so they would hold together for the process. Thanks to the engineers @austincustomcnc and the crew @highlandcollectiveatx for #austinstudiotour2023 taken in Austin, Texas by @treibdesign

Big thanks to @thomaspointbeach and @greenwoodsreggae for giving me a venue to install this flying mammal of the sea. It’s hovering between two beautiful pine trees on the ridge facing the stage, please come out for some reggae and good vibes this weekend and catch the dolphin in flight. After dark the lights will come on! #dolphin #maineimals #handmade #publicart #sculpture #lightandsound taken in Thomas Point Beach & Campground by @treibdesign

Decades old sketches updated with AI. I always think of a material when drawing ✍️ and now it’s fun to push that idea a little further. #1 rendered as ceramic. #2 I was thinking of translucent glass or acrylic #3 Was intended to be anodized aluminum parts #4 Is silicone. AI is a tool, yes you need to protect your IP and it is not a replacement for human creativity and judgement but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use the tool. taken in Cape Elizabeth, Maine by @treibdesign

Scroll to see the original sketch. To me applying AI to creativity is like the old drawing exercise where you make a scribble and then draw out things from the scribble to give them some sense of representation. This is what Human Intelligence does. Now we can apply AI to our scribbles as well. taken in Cape Elizabeth, Maine by @treibdesign

Before Bobs Burgers in 2009 there was Penelope Princess of Pets with @kurtbraunohler and @k.schaal vintage comedy gold. This was a design I drew to promote the show. That serious cutting stare on the sweetest most hilarious person is so funny in and of itself. taken in North Pole by @treibdesign

This beautiful design created by @treibdesign truly makes the Mata Hari by @loadedboards stand out! 🤤✨

It showcases beauty and creativity from nose to tail. Every bold color, flowing line and organic shape blends together to create a truly unique artistic expression that feels alive standing still or in motion! ✨
