25 years ago, we had one idea: a bike could open up the world like nothing else. 🚲✨   That idea became a trip. That trip became Trek Travel — and 25 years later, it’s thousands of mornings on the road and on the trail with you. Alps sunrises, quiet coastal villages in Portugal, first pedal strokes into brand-new adventures.   You’re why we do this. Here’s to 25 years of fun, and to the next chapter — join us in 2027. 👋   #TrekTravel #25YearsOfFun #OnTheRoadAndOnTheTrail #ActiveTravel by @trektravel

The first tulips. The first swim in the Mediterranean. The first long lunch that stretches into the afternoon. Spring in Europe is best taken at your own speed: Amsterdam to Bruges for the tulip fields, Costa Brava for the coves, Puglia’s Salento and Matera for the olive groves and the table.   Find your spring Europe trip at the link in our bio. #CyclingVacations #CostaBrava #AmsterdamToBruges #Puglia by @trektravel

Meet Your Guide: Emiel De Pauw Hi, I'm Emiel. Belgian by passport but out here in Italy trying my absolute best to pass as a local. I'll leave the verdict on how that's going to my Italian co-guides.😅 ⚽️ Soccer took up most of my life. Cycling arrived fashionably late and quietly took over from there, and now here I am, guiding instead of tackling and loving every single moment of it. 🇮🇹 Just so you know, if you ask me how to say something in Italian, there's a decent chance I'm actually giving you Roman dialect instead. I never took a single Italian course; everything I know, I picked up just from living here in Rome. So in my head Roman = Italian. ⏰️ Another small confession: I have never once set an alarm for a "clean" number 7:00, 7:05, 7:10, 7:15, all banned. But 7:01, 7:03, 7:07,7:11... those are all perfectly fine. No logic behind it, it just has to be that way. Ask me my favorite region to guide and it's Tuscany. The food is out of this world, the views over the hills are unreal, and the weather never misses a chance to show off. Slovenia is on my wish list since I haven't gotten to guide there yet. And if I'm being honest, there's a whole stack of countries on our trip map I haven't visited yet. My favorite trip memory so far: a pasta cooking class where one guest didn't stop filming and photographing her husband. Turns out it was the first time in over 40 years of marriage she'd seen him (attempt to) cook anything. She sent every last photo and video straight to the family group chat! Have you heard Emiel's "Italian" yet? Let us know in the comments! #TrekTravel #Cycling #Hiking #AdventureTravel #EpicRides #VacationGoals #BucketList #TrekTravelGuide by @trektravel
Picture this: you glide across Lake Bled on a traditional Pletna boat, climb 99 stone steps, and step inside the golden Church of the Assumption, with Bled Castle watching from the cliff above. Fairytale views, real-life memories.
