Hear me out before y’all come for me in the comments. You can grow long hair without using hair growth oils. This hair growth progress you see is not a result of an oil mixture.

A lot of people believe hair growth oils grow your hair, but it’s simply the hair care and the consistency that do.

If hair growth oils were magically growing hair everyone should have long hair to the floor. There is no hair growth without the hair care, the health, and length retention. Genetic can also play a role in how long your hair grows.

How many people can say that they’ve used a hair growth oil that caused their hair to grow and be healthy by just being lazy and never keeping a routine? By never cleansing their hair and scalp? By never providing their hair hydration, moisture, and nourishment? By continuously doing damaging hairstyles? Your scalp alone will tell you otherwise. So I’ll wait.

The hair growth oil mixture, because of each essential oil’s properties aide in maintaining the hair’s health thus will help retain length, in such like:
- Fortifying (strengthening and preventing hair damage)
- Boosting blood flow to the follicles and healing nerve tissues (regrowth from hair loss)
- Minimizing cell-damaging free radicals (anti-inflammatory or antioxidant properties)
- Lubricating and coating with natural humectant (retaining moisture)
Etc.

I can go on and on, but the hair growth oil doesn’t do it alone. If you are able to practice proper hair care and be consistent with it you will retain length and your hair will grow long. Healthy hair promotes hair growth.

This is not me knocking any companies who sell hair growth oils but when you understand the science of hair you understand that essential oils have properties that are beneficial to your hair’s maintenance but they are not the sole reason your hair is growing.

People have been growing their hair long before hair growth oils exist but I digress.
