Today marks 58 days until I turn 51. 🎉
Turning 50 showed me a lot. There were moments when I asked, “Lord, why me?” And He gently reminded me, “Why not you?”
This past year has stretched me, humbled me, healed me, and helped me grow into the phenomenal woman God created me to be. We are all called by God, but only a few choose to fully walk in their calling. I have been walking out mine for some time now, and I know God is not finished with me yet.
As I begin this 58-day journey to 51, I will be stepping away from social media starting this Sunday. I am dedicating this season to drawing closer to God, giving my life completely back to Him, and allowing Him to lead every step of my journey.
I can’t wait to see what God has in store this time around.
And there’s more exciting news! My new book will be dropping soon, with presales launching on my birthday, August 15! 🎉📚
Here’s to new beginnings, deeper faith, greater purpose, and the next chapter of my life.

The mother who had a baby at 15 with no blueprint, no mother figure, and no idea what she was doing… but I figured it out ❤️
I made mistakes, but my children were never one of them.

On yesterday, I showed up for ME.
I didn’t even realize I was still hurting… because I’m so used to showing up for everybody else. Pouring into others, being strong for others… that I forgot about myself.
But the energy in that room… it was breathtaking.
She asked one question: “When was the last time you truly loved on yourself?”
And I broke down 😢… because the truth is—I haven’t.
Yesterday, I learned how important it is to choose YOU.
It’s okay to say no.
It’s okay to be a little selfish.
It’s okay to rest, to heal, to feel.
I had a moment to look at myself in the mirror—and be honest.
Healing starts with YOU.
And if you change the way you think… you can change your life.
Today, I can say this with my whole heart—

Another year that God has allowed my mother to be here, and today we celebrate her 65th birthday. 🎉🥲

There is nothing in this world I wouldn’t do to have my mother back home where she belongs. I just want the chance to give her the life and peace that were taken from her.

The day before her birthday, I received a letter from the attorney who has been fighting for my mother for nearly two years. In so many words, it says that if I don’t get the right legal representation before June 2027, I could lose my mother to the state. I refuse to accept that.

I called my mom today to wish her a Happy Birthday. The first thing she asked me was, “Are you on your way to get me?” That question shattered my heart. 😩

Not being able to care for my own mother is one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced. I’m praying that God makes a way. If God allows anyone with the knowledge, resources, or influence to help us, please reach out. Your help could make all the difference.

Today, I give God all the glory, honor, and praise. 🙏🏽✨
At 24 years old, I was baptized. But today, I made the decision to be baptized again—not because God changed, but because I have changed. This time was personal. This chapter is simply: me and You, Lord.
I am beyond excited for this new journey God has me on. I know He has so much in store for my life, and I truly believe He was just waiting for my undivided attention. As I continue to grow closer to Him, I will be stepping away from social media for a while to focus on alignment, healing, purpose, and strengthening my relationship with Christ.
Thank you to my daughter, my little sister, and my cousins, whom I love so much, for being there to witness this special moment and support me on this journey. Your love and presence meant more than words can express.
I’m choosing faith over fear, purpose over distraction, and God’s plan over my own. This is not a goodbye—it’s a reset. A season of surrender. A season of growth. A season of becoming who God created me to be.
Thank You, Lord, for Your grace, mercy, patience, and unconditional love. I trust You with what’s next. ❤️

Oh Lord, where do I start? Today I celebrate my firstborn son on his 35th birthday! 🎉❤️
Thirty-five years ago, God blessed me with an amazing son, and what a journey it has been. We literally grew up together, creating so many beautiful memories, and I can’t think of a single bad one. Thank you, son, for always being such a laid-back, respectful, and loving person. Since you were a little boy, you have never brought me anything but joy.
Watching you grow into the responsible man and wonderful father you are today has been one of my greatest blessings. I thank God for allowing me to spend 35 incredible years with you.
On your special day, I pray that God continues to go before you in this crazy world, guide your steps, protect you, and cover you with His grace and favor. Lord, watch over my son, Your son, and let no weapon formed against him prosper.
