A Moment of Gratitude: Size Matters 🎥

Standing in this gallery, I’m reminded of the power of art to reshape how we see the world—and ourselves. Size Matters has been more than a group exhibition; it’s been a journey of exploring scale, perception, and the stories that unfold through art.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to HOMME Gallery for providing this platform, to the artists who poured their vision and talent into every piece, and to everyone who has supported this exhibition.

This experience has changed me as a curator. It’s taught me how to weave a story, not just through individual works but through the collective voice of many. It’s amplified how important creating a space where every detail matters is. Where every artist’s voice is heard, and where viewers can feel the depth of the dialogue.

“Size Matters” is more than an exhibition—it’s a celebration of perspective, connection, and the stories we share through art.

Curating “Size Matters” has been an incredible experience, from collaborating with talented artists to weaving their works into a cohesive story. “Fútbol Diaries” is a new series of interactive conversations that steps beyond the scoreboard to explore the human experience behind the game. Through candid interviews with former and current players, coaches, referees, and journalists, the series will uncover the emotional terrain of those who have dedicated themselves to fútbol—the exhilarating peaks of victory, the quiet resilience after defeat, and the lifelong lessons learned along the way.

Music by @nahir_dugum starts at 12pm on Saturday
Artwork by @mymomsfavoriteartist will be up from Thursday - Sunday 5/14 - 5/17

In our collaborative exhibition, we merge two distinct forms of art to weave a singular narrative. While a solo exhibition focuses on nothing but the artist and his or her artworks; A two-person exhibition needs to show the tension and communion between two artists simultaneously. The challenge lies in harmonizing disparate mediums, inviting viewers to witness the delicate dance where visual and tactile expressions converge to tell a compelling joint story.

“Party in the Garden” is a romanticized abstract interpretation of the biblical story of Adam and Eve. Particularly the moment when Adam and Eve bite into the forbidden fruit, stripping them of their innocence and casting them down a waterfall of moral indignity. We focus on capturing the essence of the narrative rather than a literal depiction. The story can be reimagined through the lens of abstract art, emphasizing emotions, themes, and symbolism.
