Mark 16:16 “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” August 25, 2024 will be marked as the greatest achievement of my life as I give my life over to God and continue to live through his name each and every day. This has been long overdue, but the world we live in and the life challenges that have been thrown my way almost seemed like a perfect time to make this commitment. As I start this new journey of life, I am truly blessed to share this moment and process with you all as I consider you all like family. I also hope this process influences some of you to get saved by God and to live through faith. He is alive and he Is here with us, in us, and around us. by @trevonsalter

It’s time to let go and let God. Stop trying to do things on your own without consulting with God because what you want may not be what God wants. In the book of Proverbs, it tells us “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding”. Start trust in Gods plan and allow him to shift your atmosphere on his time and not yours! by @trevonsalter

I’ve made mistakes that still sit heavy on my chest. I’ve ruined relationships I thought would last forever. I’ve lost genuine people because I wasn’t living the life God called me to live, and for a long time I carried that guilt like a shadow I couldn’t escape. These last six months were a mirror. They forced me to sit with myself, to face the pain I caused, and to finally admit that I wasn’t who I needed to be. And if I’m being honest, I’d give anything to go back and undo some of the decisions that broke people I cared about. But life doesn’t give do-overs. It gives lessons. It gives consequences. And it gives you a chance to rise, if you’re willing to fight for it.

I’m far from perfect, but I know Jesus died for my imperfections. He died so someone like me, someone who fell short, messed up, and lost their way, could still have a second chance. Proverbs 24:16 says, “For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.” And that’s me. I’ve fallen hard, but I refuse to stay down. Every time the enemy tried to break me, God whispered, “Get up. I’m not done with you.”

As I turn 25 today, I’m leaving behind the version of myself that lived in doubt, temptation, and darkness. I’m stepping into a season covered in the armor of God, into discipline, peace, growth, and purpose. I’m learning to cherish life, to love the people around me better, and to finally love myself the way God intended.

I weathered storms I didn’t think I’d survive, but I’m still here. Still growing. Still fighting. Still rising. Here’s to becoming the man God always knew I could be.🙏🏾 Thank you god for another 365 by @trevonsalter
