Thank you @flyleafmusic and @_residenthero for an amazing night on July 24, 2026 at @southsideballroom ! This tops as #1 in best concert for the rest of my life! I'm forever grateful that I got a chance to play #FullyAlive in memory of my #SweetCaroline and made my 21 y.o. dream come true with my favorite band of all time! To anyone who wasn't there, the video is here on Instagram, Tiktok (trevorflyleaf), and on my Youtube channel (Trevor Cormier Music). Love you guys!
To my sweet Caroline:
I hope I made you proud that I dedicated this in memory of you, to keep your legacy alive. To let you know that you will always be in my heart for eternity! I wish you saw this in person, but, God had other plans. My presence on stage did something to the crowd more than what I can imagine since I got few amazing reactions here on social media from a few people who was at the show, but, didn't interact in person that night. I hope this touch so many hearts knowing that perseverance made the "impossible" possible. I love and miss you my sweet Caroline, more than you ever know while you're watching down on me from heaven. Hopefully I can have my band #SownSeedMusic open for them and play "Fully Alive" again in the near future to keep my dedication of your memory alive.

#RIPSWEETCAROLINE #Flyleaf #FullyAlive #InMemory #AllAroundMe Thank you @flyleafmusic and crew for making this possible! Thank you @anton_zhivanov for filming this! I'm blessed and grateful on doing this in memory of my Sweet Caroline! I know she was watching in heaven which was the best seat in the house for her. This is the best concert I have ever attended and be a part of. I came a long way since 2005. If I took a time machine and told my 16 y.o. self what happened, I have no idea how my 16 y.o. self would react. This is for you my sweet Caroline! I miss and love you so much!
MY LETTER TO MY SWEET CAROLINE:
You lost the battle, but, you didn't lose the war. You were an amazing woman with ambition and determination when you fought hard. I hope this will inspire other people who went through the same trials and tribulations like you did. You're legacy lives inside me that inspires me to continue the way I live to make you proud and happy while you watch me from the heavens above.
It was an honor and blessing for me to be your husband, and to take care of you till death do us part! I'm going to miss you, your presence, and the love and light you gave me through out the years. Since you're in heaven, it haven't been easy. But, I'll get through this every chance I get. Death didn't part us. It just changed how I have to love you now.
Even though you're gone, I'm still trying to figure out how to have my world back to normal again.
As what @offspring sings in their song "Gone Away":
"If I could trade, I would!".
Living after you died is one of the hardest things I'm doing.
As what @seether sings:
"I'll rise above this!"

@ilovejoshsturm @reflectloveback #LaceySturm #WhenILostTheLoveIHad! #Lyrics #RIPSweetCaroline 💓📔🖊🎼🎶🎵🎚🎸🥁🎹🎛 Favorite Line(s):
Chorus: "When I lost the love I had, your words are always sown! When I'm walking to your grave, your name is set in stone! -When I lost the love I had, your love you gave is known! When I write to you with words, I pray that you hear my poems! (2x's)
Bridge: "-Days comes and goes, even when I close my eyes! Some days goes by, when I lost time! -Will you send me a sign to show me what you know? Will this be from a feather from a crow? -Will I write my words with this feather and ink? Will this help me rise before I sink? -There will be a #flyleaf on every book I write! Just to show how my world was shook after you died!"

(Killswitch Engage lyrics also to my sweet Caroline, 💓🪽🕊, from their song "Always", from their sixth album, Disarm The Descent [2013]):

I am with you always!

I was in the chat during @loripetersmusic 's Tiktok live today, and someone, who goes by "AufioDriveX🔊🎸", asked me if I'm related to @liamjosephcormier of @cancerbats ! I said no. This is the 1st time ever someone who asked me if I'm related to someone who has the same last name as me, let alone who's in a famous band. Lol 😄
I remember years ago, during high school, I was trying to sleep and had the @musicchoice Metal Channel on and they were playing one of #CancerBat 's songs and that's how I discovered this band. I can't remember the title since it's been so long ago. #Skillet #LiamCormier #LoriPeters #Tiktok by @trevorflyleaf

Dear my sweet Caroline! Today marks 9 years when I proposed to you! You had no idea this was planned. Before the proposal, you only knew this was a local concert and us eating dinner at Savor Coffee Bar and Eatery in Arlington, TX. I wanted to propose to you at a Lacey Sturm concert, but, we had no idea when was her next Dallas date during that time. We had no idea that we were one of Lacey's favorite couples until she posted a prayer request to her social media followers after you had pneumonia that Spring (2017). If I would've known that, I would've proposed to you at the January 28, 2017 TREES Dallas concert. Do I regret not doing it sooner? Yes! Especially when I found out (sometime after Lacey's concert) that you told me that Karla talked to the doctors during that one appointment, and told them that she would say yes if I ask her for her blessing for me to marry you, especially since your dad died in 2003, which was 11 years before I met you.
Not long after you were admitted to the hospital for pneumonia, Karla called me for something (that I can't remember while I'm writing this) and that's when I asked her for her blessing to marry you. She said yes with excitement! I was so relieved that she gave me a yes because I was so nervous during that moment!
Would I love to relive this day like the movie Groundhog Day? I definitely would! During our encounter while I was proposing to you, I was nervous that you would say no. Felt like I was overthinking something so simple, the outcome became better than what I thought during that time.
If you were still alive, I would still be holding your hand because you were my kryptonite and I was your superman. We were everything for each other because God knew everything before we knew because everything was in His hands and I feel blessed that I got to experience life with you. You were brave to continue to live, even though you had obstacles to go through health wise.
You never gave up on life because you knew you had more in you to live the life that God gifted you. I will be forever thankful that I got to experience life with you!

When the world that you trust burns down, In the ashes of all your hopes and doubts! Dear my #SweetCaroline,
-Today is our eight year aniversary of our wedding! This is our 1st wedding anniversary without you, after you went to heaven. It was the best time of our lives together. We had our vows and we said our words that needed to be said up onto the famous words, "Till death do us part!", "I do's!", and-"You may kiss the bride!". It was a blessing from God for you to be my wife. It was an honor and blessing for me to be your husband. It was an amazing journey that we lived and walked together.
-I miss the laughs. I miss the cries. I miss your stubbornness. I miss your silliness that brightened my day, especially when I came home from my day-job. I miss cooking breakfast, lunch (on my off days from my day-job), and dinner. I miss taking you out to eat when I didn't have time to fix things after coming home from work. I miss laying in bed with you, holding your hands, kissing you, and saying "I love you" and "goodnight" after getting ready for bed time. This also including doing video calls with our friends and saying, "peanut M&Ms", "calamari", "chicken noodle soup", and "calculator".

-We were 2 years shy for us to have our ten year aniversary, but, it was only 7 years and 8 months of our marriage.
You became the fire inside of me. I became the fire inside of you. In total, we became each other's flames in each other's hearts! We became one!

Lyrics:
"Come be the fire inside of me,
Come be the flame upon my heart!
Come be the fire inside of me,
Until You and I are one!" - #MistyEdwards
