POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What would be the impact of running a Leadership programme for 8 year olds ?

The Be The Ladder Foundation did exactly that at Edgebury Primary School in South London - the response from the school children was moving. Hear from some of the school children who completed the programme and were presented with junior Be The Ladder Awards.

Children are the next generation of leaders so working with schools ensures everyone has the confidence to aspire to be a leader irrespective of social background.

The Be The Ladder Awards on November 6th helps raises funds for its foundation’s school programmes , please join the celebrations at the Globe - some tickets still available .

I am in Heaven… 🎶

Each time my son @riosterling3 releases a new single, I feel incredibly proud. I see the hours of songwriting behind the scenes—the thought, dedication and heart that go into his music.

At just 21, his songs carry powerful messages that deserve to be heard as much as the melodies.

His EP, Dream in Colour, expressed a belief close to my heart: that everyone should have the opportunity to fulfil their dreams, in all their colour.

Tomorrow, Rio releases “Heaven”. For me, its message is that peace comes through the way we live, the good we do and the connections we build, rather than simply “fighting to get to the top”.

I call that being the ladder. Rio expresses it through music, in his own voice and for his own generation.

As a father, watching him find that voice is my own little piece of heaven.

“Heaven” is out tomorrow - tickets still available via Dice for his release launch October 1st The Lexington N1 9JB Have a listen—I hope it means something to you too. ❤️

Remember who got you there.

I was privileged to speak at the Global Counsel Forum’s Super Power Summit - a wonderful coming together of leaders being the ladder for others.

We must always remember that the light may shine on those on the stage but the opportunity to be on the stage comes from those before us .Thank you to my mother and father Lydia Sterling and Ivan Sterling.

Huge congratulations to Sharon Thomas and her team for putting on such an important event bringing together black lawyers from the UK and beyond.
