That completes another deck using @trexcompany , and once again, the installation was incredibly straightforward. A great-looking, low-maintenance deck built to handle the elements for years to come.

We also added the @trexrainescape system underneath to help keep the framing protected and create a dry, usable space below the deck.

One of my favorite upgrades to a deck build is adding the @trexrainescape system. It installs right over the joists before the decking goes down, creating a drainage system that helps keep the space underneath dry and protects the framing from moisture. Simple install, added protection, and you turn the area under your deck into usable outdoor space. 🙌

░T░I░P░ Flat blocking for a breaker board? Keep your Trex RainEscape installation watertight:
1️⃣ Install the troughs on both sides of the flat blocking.
2️⃣ Lift each trough and apply a bead of caulk underneath.
3️⃣ Cut and install a trough section over the flat blocking.
Finish by taping all seams.
