8 months ago, we welcomed Rhys into our house. Rhys was coming to Des Moines to play for the Des Moines Buccaneers. We had no clue what to expect. What we anticipated would be nothing more than ‘housing’ and ‘feeding’ someone for some months turned into something far different. To say these last 8 months have been incredible would be an understatement. Rhys quickly became family. His family became family. He was (and forever will be) a big brother to our kids - someone they trust and look up to. We are so honored to have been a part of his journey. He is an exceptional hockey player and even a better person. We have been so blessed by this experience and will continue to do it. If you are interested in learning more about housing a player, reach out to me! I would love to answer any questions. Thank you, Rhys. Thank you, Bucs. @brigetjohnson @trey.johnson29 @jadejohnson_30 @rhys_wallin @bucshockey by @trey.johnson29
