POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My baseball career has been a roller coaster filled with highs of highs and lows of lows.

I was a top-ranked high school player who lost a scholarship forcing me to go to the JUCO Route.

Through hard work, I became one of the best relievers in the country and was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

I honored my commitment to the University of Missouri and started strong in the fall. Then out of nowhere, I had the yips and thought my career was over.

After many failures, I was able to overcome the yips and thrive in the Cap Cod Summer League.

Following that up in 2020 by leading the SEC in saves before the world shut down.

After that, I didn’t play for nearly four years. I had not one, but two Tommy John surgeries.

Overcoming the odds, I still found a way into professional baseball. How?

Mental performance. It’s what kept me grounded and to keep moving forward despite all the adversity I’ve faced.

Give me a follow so you can learn how the mental game will help you get to the next level. by @treydillardthrows

Willing to bet majority of HS and college pitchers would throw harder if they gained weight and got stronger.

A lot of this is from @drheenan and his OG 90 mph formula by @treydillardthrows

Another week stacked this off season.

Less wild throws, more throws on target, getting more creative with throwing.

Should be throwing in the 80s soon. It’s funny, it feels like a high effort 75 and then I see the video and I’m barely trying… gotta love ramping up.

Catch play today w/ @juicy_jake33
Casually throwing 97 in catch play as he gears up for winter ball 🇲🇽

I’m following the plan from Mr Coach @brice__crider @rubicon_perform while I’m enjoying the beautiful state of Arizona.

Another day stacked.

Some of the high performance stuff I do with @brice__crider @rubicon_perform on high intensity days after throwing.

When ahead 0-2 or 1-2, you can’t afford to miss over the plate. The crowd certainly enjoyed that.

Learn where your put away pitches play best and miss in that direction. by @treydillardthrows

Forever grateful for the support and sacrifices my parents made for me.

Pretty cool things happen when you learn how to throw a baseball really hard and get hitters out. by @treydillardthrows

Didn’t want to throw into a net this off season, but you adjust when Mother Nature says other wise.

Random objects/ balls, specific targets to aim for, and specific targets for velo. That was fun. by @treydillardthrows

This is way better than throwing into a net (a lot more difficult too) by @treydillardthrows

You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.

Work with a coach who’s going to make your development a priority. Someone who gives you direction, holds you accountable, and makes adjustments based on what YOU need.

@luke.hagerty_x2ap did that for me, and it completely changed the trajectory of my career.

Some throws on target today, some not. Part of it.

Spine and body pretry stiff today, something I’ll pay attention to and observe tomorrow when I throw again.

Stacking. Keep Going.
