Today marks 2 years of marriage to my best friend, and there are not enough words to describe how wonderful she is.

Amy is far more precious than jewels. She is patient, persistent, hilarious, constant, beautiful, the greatest dog mom, the sweetest Aunt, and SO much more. Her drive and passion is inspiring, and her faithful pursuit after the Lord’s will is such a joy to be apart of.

I am so excited for this upcoming year, and to explore into the unknown with you :) Walking in faith with you has been one of the greatest joys of this life, and I praise the Lord each day for blessing me with you!

1 entire year of marriage. That’s so cool to say! 365 days of marriage to my best friend. Wild.

Marriage is truly a blessing. It’s laughing, crying, supporting one another in all the side quests, sweet treats, Mario Kart beef, movie nights, enrichment time, lunch breaks, and so much more.

Amy is a wonderful example of a wife that God describes in scripture. To stand at her side has been an honor, and I’m glad I’ll get to say that I am Amy’s husband for the rest of my life.

I’m beyond proud of the wife, teacher, director, dog mom, and woman she is. An instagram caption will never to justice to how grateful I am for this woman.

Let me tell you guys about Elevation.

A little over 2 years ago, I started one of the coolest side quests ever. I have had the honor of serving as a youth apprentice with Mobberly, and it has been a journey. So many memories, so many laughs, so much fellowship, and so many new friends. Elevation has been my home, and I’m forever grateful for the bonus family I got to form in my time here. Whether it be the staff, fellow apprentices, volunteers, or students, it’s hard to not be surrounded by people who love Jesus, and who will love like Him also. I will never have enough words to describe how much I love and cherish this place. God knew I needed to be here, and I am forever grateful to be a servant of His at Elevation.

Thank you Lord for my time here! Thank you to the students for allowing me to be apart of your journey. Thank you to Will, Katherine, Susan, Michael, and any other staff member along the way who welcomed me like family. You are all examples of what it means to be Godly leaders, and I will forever look up to your example as the Kingdom Leaders you all are. Thank you to the many bonus brothers and sisters I gained along this journey. To walk into work everyday and get to be with my best friends has been one of the greatest blessings of this job. To serve alongside you all has reminded me of the Church in Acts 2. Simply doing life together. I love you guys more than you will ever know.

If you’ve made it this far, I appreciate your time. Like Pastor Andrew says “I’m about to wrap up.”

James 1:22 is the verse we have on the wall in our Junior High room and that has been what has stuck with me most here. Mobberly is truly a place that puts the word of God into practice. To see people live out the Gospel has been the best part of it all!

I love this place, I love these people, and forever thankful to God for allowing me to be here. I can’t wait to come back and visit down the road.

Trey’s annual post ‘22

What a year. I genuinely can not even come up with the words to describe how great the Lord has been throughout this year.

I want to tell you guys about some passages that really meant a lot to me throughout 2022!

Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:28-30 that we are called to bring our burdens to Him, for He is the one who can provide true rest!
In Matthew 5:13-16, Jesus calls us to be the salt and light of the world. He calls us to go and shine our light in the darkest of places!
In Hebrews 12:1-3, we are called to an enduring faith. A faith in which we let go of what is holding us back, and letting God take care of it!
And in Colossians 1:13-20, Paul writes on Jesus being the image of God, the head of the body (the church), the one in which all things are created, and that through Him, through His sacrifice, there is true peace!

Thanks to all of those who made this year extra special!! I love you guys 🤍

It’s that time for Trey’s annual Instagram post, so here’s a few photos to encapsulate some of the cool things of this year, BUT that’s not what I want to share with you guys today….
There’s something that God has placed on my heart that I would really like to share if you don’t mind…

I was reading in 1 Corinthians last night, and chapter 12 in particular gave me something I feel God really wanted to share with you folks! Verses 12-31 talk about the body and how diverse yet unified we all are. How each part has its own specific purpose, yet still apart of one body despite it’s uniqueness. Verses 15 and 16 really stuck out to me as they state, “Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body.”
My friends, what I want you to know that you are designed to serve YOUR purpose in the body of Christ. You are unique, different, special, called. It’s ok to not ‘be like everyone’, because God designed you to be yourself. Just because you’re not like ‘someone else’ doesn’t mean you’re not a part of the body. Just because you’re fighting a different battle than others doesn’t exclude you from the body. Trust me, I know what it feels like, so I want to make sure you know that you’re not alone. You’re important, and know that you are loved so so much by our God :)
You’re valued. You’re loved. & You’re awesome my friend 🤍
Paul tells us numerous times to never tire from doing what is good, and I hope you feel a sense of encouragement from this. I appreciate you if you’ve read this far, and I pray strength and joy upon you ! Don’t ever tire from doing what is good !!

2020 - A crazy year full of many ups and downs. From quarantine, to graduating, to first college semester, to many events and late night vibe sessions, it’s been quite an eventful year. I’m thankful for the many friendships and memories created in this unorthodox year. Been a crazy ride my friends, and onto a new year. Looking forward to what 2021 has in store. This trip has been AMAZING! To good times with my peeps, to white water rafting and looking like Aquaman. From experiencing the Lord’s presence in new miraculous ways - getting to worship with Local Sound, and just overall having a blast !
