Took this weekend to spend time with my grandmother, my great aunt, my auntie, and my uncle from DC.

Washington, DC has always felt like a second home—not because of where it is, but because of how it feels. Every time we visited, it was full of love… the same kind of warmth I feel in Houston.

This weekend, we met in San Antonio, and I had the opportunity to do a photoshoot for my family at a small park near where we were staying. Just being able to capture that moment—my grandmother seeing her legacy frozen in time—meant everything.

Love on your family. Create memories. And never forget… we only have each other for a moment.

I’ve found myself in a place of gratitude lately. Not because everything is perfect—but simply because God is.

I’m grateful for my beautiful wife, our three amazing children, and the loving family I come from. I’m thankful for a business that’s booming too (get at me if you need some creative work done 😏). Aight—I’m back.

Being in this posture has opened more doors than when I was running around trying to make things happen on my own. The Lord is my strength, and He’s given me the grace to pursue every goal in front of me.

And I promise you… you haven’t seen anything yet.

The beautiful thing about being a creative?
As long as I’ve got my laptop, camera, and some headphones, I can plant my feet anywhere and still run my business, knock out pre-production, and manage my time like a boss.
Grateful that God gave me a gift that lets me move through the world with purpose and flexibility.

I could craft up with a single mother story and paint this journey as hard but if I focused soley on her education I’d be lying because @kaidyxx MADE IT EASY! She took her education into her own hands, sat in the driver seat, and drove this story down the paths she wanted to create. I mean, she did overseep alot and mornings were filled with swear words but overall… aye SHE DID IT!
