Whenever you make a major purchase, remember:

Every item has two prices.

the number of times you’ll actually use it before forgetting about it, throwing it away, or selling it in “like new” condition.

And once you calculate the second price…

something interesting happens.

Things that once seemed expensive become surprisingly cheap.

But if you sleep on it every night for ten years, the cost per night becomes almost nothing.

Value is not measured by price —
