Tribe Selections - @morgan_stansfield So tomorrow I’ll be in Bristol, playing at The Exchange for @ramblebristol on their opening night. Here’s a quick peek into my bag. Consider it a taster. Muster Men - Et Maintenant Gritty, dark but playful and trippy. I’ve played this that much at home even Hollie knows the words. There’s a very strong chance this will get played. Miller - The Ways Are Mystic I first heard this at Houghton last year. Gene On Earth sunrise. Tree stump locked down. A few weeks later it came available for pre-order. Insta-buy. Never heard anyone else play it. Maybe everyone thinks it’s shit. Maybe it’ll go down like a sack of spuds. Suppose we’ll find out tomorrow. Gideon Jackson - Acid For Tea Big Gidz. Uncle Gideon. This was part of the recent Tokinowa: Seven release. 3 slabs worth of vintage Gideon production from 1999-2005. This the pick of the bunch. Essential tackle from one of the best. Mr G. - And Dance Brand new from the gaffer. What will we do when he stops making tunes, aside from listen to his old tunes. It’s trademark Mr G swing with this machine gun acid line firing away in the background. Another insta-buy and through the door in time for a Ramble. by @tribe.select

Tribe Selections - Harrison Good evening music lovers, I’ve got four tunes here I’ve been into recently, a good range too. Have a listen to the first two slides, it’ll give you a taste of what’s to come for our “night of techno” on the 23rd of October at @merakiliverpool Elation - Dylan Forbes I love electronic sounds. No idea how that sounds been created but it’s just mint init. Eyes shut, seatbelt on, belter. Escape in Detroit - Kelli Hand I’ve really enjoyed listening to and playing techno recently, which is a change to my normal sound. I liken this kind of music to a diesel train, chugging along at a steady pace. Love it. That Track (Rewired Mix) - Roza Terenzi If any of you cool cats have been witnessing @melladee_ summer spanglecore takeover you’ll be into this. Wiggy. Dubby. Deep. All them kinda words, bust a move for us Ryan. Sweetcoolnice - Paul Stephan Get to know Paul Stephan. One of the better sounding voices in UK rap. Proper 2Steppy, liquid jungley kinda shamone paired wi some bars, tasteee. A bit less serious than my other selections, nice on the ears, great for the headphones or the dancefloor. by @tribe.select

Tribe Selections - Willis Back with another guest selections this week. We’ve had the pleasure of playing alongside Willis a few times now and he always supplies with his love and wisdom for the music. Here’s a couple of his picks. Console - JV remix Nice and deep to start off, love hearing/ playing these kind of tunes earlier on in the night as everyone’s getting into it. Quite spacey and little bit trippy. Gunman - Strangeways This is a good en to start picking things up with, quite progressive in a way but also does enough to shift the energy up a bit. Great tune. How Deep - Mr. G Found this one the other day and haven’t stopped listening to it, love the vocal and the dark feel to the song. Very deep;) Electron - Collie This is probably one of the best tunes I’ve ever come across, proper driving and uplifting, especially towards the breakdown, it’s mint. Papua New Guinea - The Future Sound of London If the word euphoria was a song it would be this. An absolute classic, don’t think I’ll ever get bored of it. Wish I had a cool story on how I found this but hearing it on Forza on the Xbox back in the day will have to do. by @tribe.select

Tribe Selections - AllSorts Mix @allsortsoftunes were savvy enough to record all sets from this years Final Meltdown. Here’s 2 hours of the six of us getting through it all. The first 40, Jake and Morgan work through tech house and techno. Followed by Herbie and Zoe with some driving techno, before Harrison and Matt pull up the handbrake and finish it off with some Jungle. Search “AllSorts Tribe Select” on soundcloud. Tribe Selections | Herbie We’ve had some time off from our Tribe Selections series, but this week we’re back at it, bringing you a chilled out house mix from our very own @_herbie_tawil_ . This comes before the Tribe head down to @houghtonfestival on Thursday. So if you’re headed down too and need something to listen to on your drive, this should do nicely 👌 This one’s full of soulful, laid back grooves for you to bob your head along too whether you’re behind the wheel or in a passenger seat. And if you’re not heading to a festival this weekend we’d still highly recommend this mix for background music while at work, in the kitchen, on the bus, or wherever else you may do you’re listening. It’s been a pleasure to be part of the AllSorts @allsortsoftunes story for the final two years. Our chapter, two memorable sets in the infamous Cigloo. What Ozzy and the crew created with Allsorts Festival is something they should be very proud of. The effort, passion and sacrifice required to run an independent festival today would be too much for most people. Not for these guys. You can feel it in every last detail. Support your local independent festivals, raves, band nights. Regardless of lineups. Behind the scenes there are a team of people doing it because they love it. Exclude judgement. Make connections. Now that the dust has settled the TS crew want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us and donated to Tribe Fest 2. It really couldn’t have gone any better and that all boils down to the people who turn up and the generosity of everyone who helps out. The vibe was exactly what we set out to achieve and we are very lucky to get to share these moments with like minded people right on our doorstep. A massive thank you to those who put the miles in. The Birmingham crew, the scousers, the Welsh lot and Connor who got the train to and from Newcastle on the day.
