These aren’t the final colors yet. I’m testing different ink mixes, color combinations, gradients, and papers to find the version that feels just right.

Every layer teaches me something new, and I’m enjoying the process just as much as the final result🥰

Behind those bright colors is one of the reef’s toughest characters. Blue Triggerfish can crack open sea urchins and shellfish with their powerful teeth, and when threatened, they lock themselves into rocky crevices using the “trigger” spine that gave them their name 🔫
