APPRENTICE ABI BOS
Abi started her journey with us at Tribute Studios as a full time co-op student in 2021. After graduating and working her way up the ladder Abi took on her apprenticeship at the end of 2023. Now with 2 years tattooing experience, Abi offers custom tattoos and flash pieces qualified in multiple body parts.
She loves a mix of dark and delicate, and brings a whimsical androgynous stipple style that works for everyone.
Outside of full time apprenticeship, our Abi loves photography and working in multi-media art endeavours.

Matt Cottrell
Tattoo artist, Body Piercer and owner of Tribute studios.
Matt started out in the industry in 1995 making body jewelry by hand that lead into an evolution of learning many skills and becoming a pioneer in the body art industry. This year marks his 30 years of bringing clients only the most meticulous, professional and safest procedures known to his industry.
Featured in documentaries, working with television and performing body art shows over the years his resume is quite long and very unique.
Settling in Goderich 10 years ago he brought his vision of Tribute Studios to life and took on a talented line up of artists to work with him in his clean professional establishment.
He is very partial to tattoo styles such as realism, geometric, color, and is open to any style you have in mind.
Matt has a large and loyal clientele and is always willing to add more to that list.

Jeanine started her apprenticeship here at Tribute Studios in 2022. Jeanine has an amazing attention to detail with every piercing procedure she performs. With a background in healthcare and the knowledge she has obtained from working here at the shop, her protocols cover every aspect of safety for all her clients. Her passion for body art fuels her artistic eye that shows through her work. Jeanine always takes the time to step her clients through the process of their piercing and has an amazing way of bringing a level of comfort to each client. If you have any project in mind from an ear piercing to an elaborate project she definitely is your artist.

Matt just started a massive new full-color project, and we are already obsessed! And those of you that know Matt know that he loves his realistic eyeball tattoos.
Right now, he is laying down the foundational black and grey work to build the perfect dimension and contrast before we dive into the vibrant, full realism color in the upcoming sessions. 🎨🔥
And yes—for those looking closely at the top—that leopard print tattoo is officially on its way out! We’ll be completely covering it up as this sleeve evolves.

Good things take time. ⏳✨
Check out this stunning, custom half sleeve freshly finished by Matt! This beautiful piece perfectly weaves together ornate pocket watch details, delicate butterflies, and soft hibiscus flowers into a seamless black and grey composition.
A detailed piece like this requires dedication and took multiple sessions to bring to life. We absolutely loved watching this project evolve, but the absolute best part of the journey was seeing how incredibly happy our client was throughout the entire process and with the final result! 🖤
