This moment goes down in my books as hands down one of my favorite mornings ever. Waking up to this view watching the sunrise, the gentle breeze rustling the trees, these two sweet boys snuggling, a nice hot cup of tea by my side...a morning like this can’t be beat ♥️.

I am a pretty go-go-go type of person, so it’s rare that a moment can capture my attention into a peaceful stillness. These are the moments I live for and that keep me planning my next camping trip the second I get home from one. I feel so lucky to have some of the best adventure partners with these two boys! by @tricksntreks

People love to write little dogs off as lap accessories when so many of them are sitting on a pile of working drive that nobody ever bothers to tap into.

Give Dan a job and a way to use his brain and he lights up, learning tricks faster than I can come up with them. We always joke that he’s our little “malipompom!” 🤣

Small *does not* mean low energy or low drive, it just means the package is cuter!

So if you’ve got a little dog at home who seems like he’s bouncing off the walls, that’s drive looking for somewhere to go, and the answer is reps and a job!

Our first hike of the season was a success 🤩 - this was a bucket list hike that I crossed off my list last year and has quickly become a favorite!

It’s fairly easy (minus all the heavy breathing) + you get incredible 360 views once you reach the top.

I will always be in awe of the diverse geography we have here in Colorado. I feel like I can soak up so many different terrains and beauty without ever having to leave the state! by @tricksntreks

HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY TO MY HEART 🥹

Zephyr came into my life at one of the most complicated seasons I’d ever navigated..fresh out of a divorce, knee deep in building a new business, watching my Dad recover from his fight with cancer, and figuring out what adulthood actually looked like for me.

I won’t pretend he made that first year easier. He was an absolute feral little brown ball of chaos 🤣 …but he was also the most loving, snuggly, ridiculous creature I had ever met.

He had this infectious exuberance for life that made it impossible to stay in my own head for too long. He reminded me to laugh. To be present. To not take everything so seriously. Really he’s just such a dummy (so smart, but such a goofball)!

Eleven years later and he has been all of the things - best friend, adventure partner, the warmest comfort on the hardest days, a wonderful sibling to the other dogs, and one of my greatest teachers.

His favorite things in life currently are dental chews, running absolutely full tilt, snuggling with anyone and everyone, going to daycare, and learning new tricks. He approaches all of it with the same joy he always has.

When I look at his sweet sugar face, I still see my tiny little feral brown bear…he hasn’t slowed down even a little, and honestly I hope he never does.

Just a basic fall baby dog enjoying the crispy season 🍁 …I know she’s almost 3 but she’ll always be a puppy to me ☺️

I didn’t have many photos turn out well from this shoot. I bought an ND filter this summer and it is so hard to focus with when I have a wide f-stop….and it was being particularly difficult this day. Proof that sometimes spending the extra money for better gear really is worth it 🥲🫠
