POSTS STORIES REELS

We had the delightful honor of being invited to the Gulf Business Awards 2026 at @paramounthoteldubai

Where our co-founder @dejiwastaken, the celebrity guest of the night, gave a talk about the “Personality Economy” of content creation and the importance of personal branding.

We closed out the night with him receiving the award from the Chief Guest Sheikh Dr Mohammed bin Suroor Al Shari of the Fujairah Royal Family

Special thanks to @demi_lune_group, @moon_mukerjee and @amina_konateciv

Creating content isn’t only about giving your audience what they want. It should also leave room for the ideas, stories and conversations that matter to you. Focus too much on pleasing your audience, and creating can quickly become exhausting. Focus only on yourself, and you may lose the connection you’ve worked so hard to build.

The sweet spot is content that serves your community while still feeling honest and fulfilling to create.

Comedy has a formula. A normal story told right can become ridiculous, or vice versa, and it all hinges on nuance and timing. Deji and Dayo's approach is about presenting the absurd within a professional context, a technique familiar from comedic greats.

So most people say 5+ times a day. I say post what you want and when you want. Yes, posting more often does get you in the algorithm more, but that doesn’t guarantee growth as much as it used to.

Ever watch Deji and Dayo and wonder how they get those laughs? It's satire!

When their audience questions their intent or tries to explain the satire, it further amplifies the humor. It's a clever way to engage viewers by playing on expectations and assumptions.

Algorithms favor certain content. So what makes YOU stand out from the crowd?

Your personality.

Infusing your authentic self into your content is crucial because that's your competitive advantage.
