To all of my Sisters from 45 years old and up... most of us are going through the next phase of our lives. We're at that age where we see gray hair, moles and extra pounds. Some of us are wives, we have raised children, some now have have grandchildren, we run households and businesses, pay bills, dealt with and dealing with, sickness, sadness, and everything else life has assigned us. We are survivors! We are warriors in the quiet... We are Ladies and like a classic car or a fine wine, we definitely get better with time! Even if our bodies may not be what they once were, they carry our souls, our courage, and our strength. We should never feel bad about getting older. It's a privilege that is denied to so many. Enjoy every minute 💞💞💞💞💞🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊

Ladies, I challenge you to copy proudly with your picture and age…

🚨EXECUTED: Jeremy Williams, the man convicted of kidnapping, raping and murdering 5-year-old Kamarie Holland, has JUST been executed.

This is what justice looks like.

In December 2021, this animal paid Kamarie's mother $2,500 for access to her 5-year-old daughter. He took that innocent little girl to an abandoned house in Phenix City, assaulted her, filmed it, strangled her, and left her body under a tarp.

A jury convicted him of four counts of capital murder — capital murder of a child under 14, during kidnapping, during rape, and during sodomy.

Even his own last words couldn't hide his evil: "I want to thank God for forgiving me for my sins so I can meet him in peace. Goodnight."

District Attorney Richard Chancey had the perfect response: "That baby didn't die in peace."

Gov. Kay Ivey said it best: "The unspeakable nature of this crime is exactly why we have the death penalty statute."

Williams WAIVED his appeals. He didn't want to look over his shoulder for 30 years on death row. He knew what happens to child killers in prison.

Attorney General Steve Marshall confirmed Williams also confessed to killing his infant daughter in Alaska and raping other small children.

For once, the system worked fast. No 20-year delay. No liberal judge blocking justice. A 2021 murder, a 2024 death sentence, a 2026 execution.

One monster gone forever. One little angel finally at rest.

This is why we fight for the death penalty. # #fyp by @trieceh

Sour Cream Pound Cake

(I’m no expert but this is how my crust came out crunchy)

Grease and flour or spray your cake pan. I used a 15 cup. You can use a 10 or higher.

3 cups cake flour sifted
6 eggs room temperature
1 1/2 salted butter, room temperature
2 tablespoons of oil
3 cups granulated sugar
1 cup sour cream
vanilla extract
almond extract
Butter extract
*you can use whatever extract, emulsion or flavoring you like*

Directions:

Preheat oven at 325F

Sift your cake flour put it to the side .

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and oil. Add your sugar and mix until creamy. (In error I creamed my butter, oil and sugar for 15 minutes) Make sure you cream it well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until blended after each. Add extract. Scrape down the sides. Alternating with your sour cream add cake flour slowly…sour cream…Start with flour, end with flour. Low speed. Stop to scrape down the sides. Don’t over mix. Then I fold in the last portion of my flour just to be safe. Pour batter in your cake pan. Tap it on the counter a few times and place in the oven.

Bake approximately 1 hour and 15-30 (depends on the temp you use. Keep checking). Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack. It’s up to you. by @trieceh
