Best 12 seconds ever! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Being a student athlete parent ultimately means your schedule revolves around their activities.

From training to meets/games, back to training, to physiotherapy to making sure they're still caught up or ahead on school work.

You spend hours driving or sleeping in your car waiting for training to end.

Tending to both physical and mental wounds when that race didn't go how they wanted or the game ended in a loss.

I've watched my girl break down in tears from not achieving the Personal Best time she worked hard for.

Sports can be UNGRATEFUL but also fulfilling. It teaches them diligence, patience, perseverance and DISCIPLINE. And oh, how sweet the feeling is when the reward matches the work!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
