To the man who truly made me who I was. I love you more than I can ever explain. As ornery as you could be, there was never a man who loved like you. Never a man who supported, cared, and had fun like you. You were there for me no matter how late or inconvenient, and calmed me down when I was at my worst. To the man who introduced me to my favorite hobbies and favorite music. Who taught me how to be tough and emotional. To have discipline and enjoy life. To love my neighbors as myself and most importantly how to love the Lord with all my heart. Who taught me so many of the things I know about our great God. To you, Dad, I miss you more than I can ever spit out. I feel like a part of me has been ripped away. My best friend, my dad, the man who truly made me the man I am, and ultimately the man who lead me to Christ. I can never be grateful enough for your ministry to our church, our family, and the hundreds and thousands of people, especially my closest friends and loved ones, that you took in as your own. I’ll miss kissing the top of your head, hearing you yell at one of our meets, listening to you preach and pray, and hearing you remind us you love us for the millionth time. Thank you for loving Mom, Delaney, Ian and I so well. I know you’re in heaven rejoicing and praising, clapping so loud for God with Papa Bud right now, and I know you’d tell us to “suck it up, buttercup” and remind me God is in control, and ultimately the glory and power is forever and ever His. Gloveman, My Old Man, my best buddy, Michael Trill…I’ll see you again one day, and for that, I am grateful. by @trill_out

11 days till I marry the most amazing girl on the planet. So loving, so empathetic, so passionate, and out-of-my-league beautiful. Been such a long time coming it doesn’t feel real.
Reflecting on the past almost 7 years we’ve been dating or, even crazier, the last decade that we’ve known each other, has been mind blowing. God has directed and provided in our lives in ways I’ll never fully understand. But I will always be grateful and in awe. Thank you, for the grace given to me in Dani.
