More than a Moment
Mommas cry
Sirens ring
Pain so deep
Revenge sings

Lines blurred
Yet seen
Feels Impossible to reach
False difference between you n’ me
That gets between

Instant gratification
False promise
Lack of hope
Soulless bodies yearn
For a line of cope

Misinterpreting control
Blinded by the American dream
Intoxicated by satisfaction
Abuse becomes more powerful than action
Silence cancels all factors

A message to all the artists, creatives, fashion heads, story tellers, youth, and people of color: History books don’t tell the whole story. Art can try to paint the full picture. Music allows the ancestors to sooth the soul. Institutional racism has been strategically built. But it’s not impossible to make crumble and fall. Things take time. The people need to be well informed and not divided. Don’t let this be another message that gets picked up and let down. Each person has the ability to show up to the movement as their true authentic self.

This is more than a moment. More than a movement. It’s a collection of the past, present, and future. Art is people. It’s culture. Resources. Livelihood. Community. The people before us fought for it. But we must maintain it and make it better. People is power. Resilience. Intersectionality. Creativity. Freedom. So how will you represent your history, community, and the you that you inspire to be? When you look in the mirror, will you see the person that you say you are? Come, get into some good trouble. Love from the Visualz❤️‍🩹 #Trillzsaint #Five #LLTAYG

We are currently in a generation where creators become overly saturated with social media, at a time where influencing without appreciating the significance of the art is a standard, and the inappreciativeness of the platforms just because they are at the disposal of everyone. They end up becoming the product rather than using the product to enable those around to see the benefit in the product rather the promotion. By straying from today’s standard, we embody the creatives, the revenue generators, and those who put passion to purpose. There is longevity in what we do and for that the culture will not be the same.
With that being said, I choose to be the INFLUENCE rather than an INFLUENCER. By doing so we demonstrate to the world and young adults like myself that we are in charge of our generation and the art it will sow.

I present to you all a project I directed with a group of amiable individuals to exemplify the influence they have on my life and to each other. This impact can go global if we worked together instead of trying to outdo the next person. Having said that, That very same energy was present on shoot day and I thank you for the continuous support thus far.
Without further ado I present to you guys

There’s a lot to unpack here because it’s more than just visuals, it’s the process that led to the creation of this song. To scroll on YouTube, find a beat, go and flow. So sit back and enjoy the visuals, because the music will go right with it. “As u should….” #newmusic #reel #vontre #begreat #love by @trillz.visualz
