From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank each and every person that has been there for me, supported me, gave me gifts, and showed up for me during this season. Hugeee shoutout to my mommy @tenitafree because she most DEFINITELY ate down with creating one of the biggest parties she ever threw for me🥹

You all being there for me during grad season is something I will never ever take lightly and will always cherish! Every time I’m in doubt my support system is always there to remind me that I’m never alone. Accomplishing something so big is still something I can’t believe I even did. But I’m just so grateful and so blessed. I can’t wait to see what all God has in store for me in this season.

Shoutout to every person who helped create such an amazing party. Shoutout to my friends and family. I love each and every one of you all sooo much. And shoutout to my creator because without him I wouldn’t be here at all!

“My help come from the Lord, the creator of Heaven and Earth” Psalms 121:2🙏🏽

These last 4 years have been nothing but a journey! Transferring 3 times and ending up at The University of Memphis was something I never imagined for myself. I was such a shy and quiet young woman who didn’t know what the rest of her college journey was going to look like. 2023 Trin didn’t believe she was going to graduate but God!!!

I want to send my BIGGEST shoutout to God because without him I definitely wouldn’t be here. Through all of the long nights, the tears, the doubts, the people that kept telling me I was going to end up dropping out, God kept me in this run. I would sit in my dorm and just cry out to God and beg for his help. Tell him how much I can’t do this. Continuing to ask him why me why me? But God told me I was built for this and he was going to do his big one for me. AND HE ABSOLUTELY DELIVERED🥹

I can proudly say that coming to UofM was the BEST decision I have ever made for myself. I’ve made so many memories, friends, connections. It is something I will never take for granted and always cherish with me. Thank you to my support team since day one. You all have rode these 4 years out with me and I really hope I’ve made you all proud. I’m beyond grateful for you all!

I will be graduating WITH HONORS, MAGNA CUM LAUDE on May 9th with my Bachelors in Criminal Justice, minor in Sociology from The University of Memphis! This was most definitely not easy but I can finally say that I’ve come to the finish line. Thank you @uofmemphis for providing such an amazing environment and safe space. THANK YOU GOD for getting me through these 4 years and keeping me sane. I will continue and forever give your name all the glory, honor, and praise🙏🏽

Committed to students, dedicated to the mission💙

To @sga_uofm
From my very first year in Senate to where I stand now, SGA has been one of the most defining parts of my college journey. I walked in as a first-year senator eager to learn, a little unsure, but ready to serve, and over time, I found my voice, my confidence, and my purpose. Through every meeting, initiative, and challenge, I grew not only as a leader but as a person dedicated to advocating for others.

SGA gave me more than a title, it gave me experiences, relationships, and lessons that I’ll carry with me forever. I learned how to lead with intention, speak with confidence, and serve with integrity. There were long days, tough decisions, and moments that pushed me, but every bit of it was worth it.

I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to represent the student body and be part of something bigger than myself. This journey shaped me in ways I’ll never forget. I will always be committed to serving the people💙

To @uofmnaacp
I will forever be grateful to join something so much bigger than myself. I will forever be grateful to serving both not only the students but being a voice for us as African Americans.

Planning a ball that gave African Americans a chance to be celebrated was never something I took lightly. As I was highly nervous stepping into such an important role, I knew that I had execute with grace, leadership, and responsibility.

Special shoutout to the Programming and Research Committee. You all not only helped me step into my full capabilities and execute such an amazing ball, but I gained a family in the process. We started off as strangers to talking every single day. Thank you all for allowing me to be your big sister. I enjoyed every minute and every second of being on this committee with you all. As my role has finished, I want you all to know that I appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart and will never take our friendship lightly. I love y’all so much!!

A woman dedicated to sisterhood and professional development✨

To @pauseuofm,
The very first organization I joined when I first got to UofM. I was so shy and nervous but you all helped me open up. Walking into something new is never easy, but from the very beginning, you all made me feel seen, welcomed, and supported in a way I’ll never forget. You created a space where I didn’t have to pretend to be anything other than myself.

I started out as the Community Service Co-Chair. My goal was to not only present community service but present service where we would grow, learn, and enjoy ourselves. This was a role I had never done before but I was so glad to have provided opportunities for us.

Becoming one of the Women’s Conference Chairs was a role I was so nervous to step into as I have never done it. When I stepped into this role, all I knew was that I could not mess up and I had to execute exceptionally. Through all the long nights, meetings, events, and planning; not only did it create an amazing conference, but it helped me grow into a version of me that I never knew I had.

Thank you for being more than just an organization. Thank you for being a foundation for my journey at UofM. Because of P.A.U.S.E I was able to get out of my comfort zone here while learning about sisterhood/professional development. That will always mean something to me. No matter where life takes me, I’ll forever carry a piece of PAUSE with me!

Your Women’s Conference Co-Chair, signing out💙💛

Hey guys! My name is Trinity Freeman and I serve at the Vice President for Young and Chosen! Accepting this position has allowed me to start answering a call I have been avoiding. This position is near and dear to my heart because I have always wanted to help guide people by giving advice, prayers, inspiration, and much more.

As I serve in this incredible blessing (position), I want to make sure everybody feels that they are in a safe place, valued, not be afraid to walk through life with God. I can’t WAIT to connect with you all🥰🤍 by @trin_.michelle
