POSTS STORIES REELS

This weekend with SheRuns Cardiff Run Camp Experience with @pegasusultrarunning was nothing short of inspirational.
🌳
I had the privilege of sharing my story, connecting with amazing women, and feeling truly empowered in the breathtaking beauty of the Black Mountains. Every step we took, both physically and emotionally, was a reminder of how strong, resilient, and supportive the @sherunscardiff community is.
🏃🏿‍♀️

A wholesome weekend filled with:

🐑 Night time hike
🐎 Guided trail run
🐦‍⬛ Plenty of food
🦟 Trail running workshops
🐝 Ice baths and meditation
🐦‍⬛ Guest speakers
🕷 Chit chats, laughter, questions, bonding, and quality time
🏃🏿‍♀️

It's not just about the trails these ladies run, but about the bond they build, the stories shared, and the strength they find in each other. Thank you to the incredible women I spent time with, shared their light, and their why and all this contributed to an unforgettable weekend.
🏃🏿‍♀️

A huge shoutout to AJ and Gruby SheRuns Cardiff Community Leaders for all the amazing work you do. SheRuns Cardiff is such a wonderful community, and I am so grateful for everything you have created and continue to nurture!💜
🌳

A special thank you to Rhys, Cerys, and Nye 🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿 for inviting me to be a guest speaker and the opportunity to share my story and experience a beautiful weekend. I truly believe in the work that you do, your passion for encouraging women, creating a safe space for runners and walkers, and always finding new ways to empower others is unmatched. You go above and beyond as an event organiser / race director, and it is clear you are one of the best in the field.
🌳

Here's to more adventures and connections and continuing to lift each other. Together, we are unstoppable.

🌟 **What an Unbelievable Experience!** 🌟 @pegasusultrarunning - Guest Race Director 💫
.
I'm still processing everything from this race! As a race director, I’ve been fortunate to witness some incredible moments, but this event was truly one for the books. 🥳🙌🏿
.
From the 4am setup by the team; to each incredible runner crossing the finish line, the energy and passion of everyone involved made it so special. Seeing runners push themselves beyond their limits, volunteers working tirelessly, and the community coming together—THAT is what it’s all about! 🏃🏿‍♀️💫
.
Huge thanks firstly to @cessyjones1 and Rhys for reaching out to me back in February, to ALL the volunteers, every volunteer at the FAB checkpoints 🥳🥳🥳; the crew behind the scenes, and every participant who gave their all. It was a day filled with joy and personal victories. This race couldn’t have been the success it was without each and every one of you. I have witnessed the true meaning of inclusivity and a beautiful community. 👏🏿
.
To all the runners —you inspired us with your dedication and spirit. Every medal, every finish, every story was a testament to your hard work. Whether it was your first race or your 50th, you left everything on the course, and I’m beyond proud. 🏅🔥
.
This is why Pegasus do what they do. Already thinking ahead to next year—let’s make it even bigger and better! 💥
.
Thank you all for making this unforgettable. Until next time! 🏃🏿‍♀️❤️

This is why I love running as I know some truly wonderful human beings as you can see in my photos from Sundays Royal Parks HM. Much love for you all ❤️

It has been 9 glorious years of running for me. I don't know how many more years of running I will have but I know I will keep loving every second of it and remain grateful for the opportunities and friends I make along the way. I know who my people are and they know too 👊🏼

It has been a tough year for me so I appreciate those of you who have checked in on me and continue to do so. It is important we support each other through the highs and the lows so thank you my friends 🙏🏼 by @trina_runs

24 hours. A lot can happen. 🌲🏃🏾‍♀️

This time last year, I was supposed to be running the Kielder Marathon but recovering from a calf injury meant dropping down to the half.

So when the opportunity came to return with Altra, it was an absolute no-brainer. 💚

And this time, I got to run the marathon alongside my sis Gloria ❤️, who was taking on her first ever trail marathon. 🥹❤️

Watching you take on those miles, embrace the trails and keep going was something really special. I’m so ridiculously proud of you!!! 🥰.

And then there was the Boldli + Altra family the support, the laughs, the encouragement and all the good energy made the whole weekend even more special. 💚

A little bit of a whirlwind weekend too ✨️

I stayed in Newcastle before heading up to Kielder early Sunday morning with the Events of the North transport team. I got to bus marshal, chat to runners as we all geared up for the day, and then head into Kielder to experience that incredible forest.

And speaking of kit 😊

I was gifted a pair of Kitfox leggings from the lovely Mary, which I wore for the marathon.

Now, let me tell you 👌🏿I don't often review the things I wear, but these deserve a CHEF'S KISS. 🤌🏾

Snatched and tucked. ✔️
Ridiculously comfortable. ✔️
And POCKETS FOR LIFE. ✔️😂

They stayed put, felt amazing for the whole run and basically did exactly what I wanted my leggings to do without me having to think about them.

Mary, thank you! ❤️

And honestly I’m always happy in the forest. 🌲

There is something about running amongst the trees that just hits differently. The quiet. The scenery. The miles. The people. The feeling of being completely present.

Another brilliant event from the Events of the North team and another weekend that reminded me that sometimes things don’t happen when you expect them to but they can come back around when the time is right.

Last year: injured and stepping down to the half.

This year: back for the marathon, with my sister beside me.

24 hours. A lot can happen. ❤️

Kielder, you were beautiful.

Take me back. 🌲🏃🏾‍♀️✨

📸 What the photographer sees vs. what you’re actually feeling.
@whatderricksees beautifully captured it all!

The photo:
Smiling. Strong. Running. Looking like you’re having the time of your life. ✨

The reality:
Tired legs. Heavy breathing. Doubt. A little voice asking, “How many more laps?” 😅
And sometimes just trying to convince yourself to keep moving.

That’s the thing about running especially races like Spiral.

No finish line. Just loops, movement, breaks, run, walk, repeat.

A photograph captures a moment.
It doesn’t capture the conversation happening inside your head.

It doesn’t show the miles you’ve already done, the tiredness you’re carrying, the moments you wanted to stop, or the decision you made to keep going.

And maybe that’s why I love race photos.

Because sometimes you look at them afterwards and think:

“Wow… I looked like I was absolutely loving it.” 😂🌀😂

And maybe, in that moment, I was. Maybe I wasn't 😂

Even if it didn’t feel quite like that from the inside. 🌀🏃🏾‍♀️

Always up for new experiences. Thank you @wereunderground 🫶🏿🙏🏿

6 hours. No finish line. Just you, the track and your mind. 🌀

2026 has definitely been a year of firsts and yesterday was another one. 🧡

The Spiral Race with Underground Run Club was a very different kind of race for me.

The plan was simple: 4 hours on the track, using it as my final long run before Kielder Marathon.

But running around the same track, loop after loop, with nowhere to hide from your own thoughts 🌀let's just say I went through ALL the feels. 😂

There’s something strangely raw about it. No changing scenery. No finish line to chase. No pressure to run continuously. Just you, your legs and your mind negotiating every single lap.

Run. Walk. Stop. Start again.
Keep going.
Question your life choices. 😂
Then keep going some more.

And that’s what I loved about it. 74 laps completed 🌀

Huge shoutout to @wereunderground for putting on such an incredible event. The organisation, setup, crew and atmosphere were brilliant and the support was honestly 10/10. 🫶🏾

And, as always, one of my favourite things about running is the people you meet along the way. Yesterday brought new faces, new conversations and plenty of encouragement.

Congratulations to everyone who took on the Spiral. You all brought something different to those six hours.

And a special shoutout to @eleanorcoker 🥳❤️, out there absolutely smashing it with 2nd female! 👏🏾🔥

So🌀would I do it again? 👀

Ask me after I've recovered from all those laps. 😂🌀

Will you spiral?

🌸 The Mathieu Project is more than a running initiative. Founded by Tilly GW and Fatima Zara, it supported 29 women and non‑binary runners with coaching, inspiration, support, and connection as they prepared to run 50km in the Swiss Alps.🌸

🌸 From nutrition, to photography, to coaching that meets people exactly where they are, the team built a programme rooted in care and possibility. Their mission was clear: to create a future where equity on the start line isn’t a hope it’s the norm.🌸

🌸For Tilly and Fatima, this work is deeply personal. It comes from knowing how often women and non‑binary athletes are sidelined in endurance spaces, and from believing that access, representation, and community shouldn’t be rare. They built a programme that doesn’t just get people to the start line, but makes them feel seen, held, and powerful along the way.🌸

🌸Yesterday at Run Culture Live by Like The Wind, they talked on a panel moderated by Gloria Sarpong. They shared the outcomes: stories of courage, belonging, and transformation. Proof that when people are supported, they rise and when they rise together, the culture shifts.🌸

🌸This matters to all of us. Because the mountains should belong to everyone. Because endurance sport becomes richer when more voices, bodies, and identities are part of it. Because community changes what’s possible.🌸

🌸Here’s to the 29 runners rewriting the narrative.
🌸Here’s to Tilly and Fatima for building the blueprint.
🌸Here’s to a future where everyone gets to take up space in the wild.

Equity on the start line begins long before race day. It starts with who we choose to uplift! 🌸

Congratualtions to the whole team and every partcipant. I loved hearing the mission and vision behind the Mathieu Project, the powerful poem and your hopes for what's ahead 🌸

Back in the Groove 🏃🏾‍♀️✨

My longest run since May and honestly, it felt good to be back. 🥹

No pressure. No chasing numbers. Just getting out there, finding my rhythm and remembering why I love running in the first place.

After everything this year has brought, I’m enjoying this little phase of no-pressure running listening to my body, taking in the views, enjoying the miles and letting the fitness come back naturally.

Next stop… The Big Half in two weeks! 🏃🏾‍♀️💨

As always, I’m going for a good time, not a fast time. 😉 Because for me, it’s never really about how quickly I can get there it’s about enjoying the journey getting there.

And a big thank you to Sheldon for the company, conversation and tunes that made the miles even better. 🎶🙌🏾 and photos!

One run at a time. No pressure. Just miles. ❤️

Excited to welcome Trina to the pod!! 🥳 She is kind, funny, and passionate about our sport, and it really shows in everything she does.

This year, she ran 100miles in the mountains at Epona100 after months of hard work, which she said the track and weightlifting teen version of herself would not have believed! Beyond running, she is also a race director, podcast founder @thequietmiles.stories and speaker. Always aiming to encourage more women into the sport, highlight people's journey in the sport and show that aging doesn't equal less adventures, at all! 🏔️

I will let you discover her story, it's on all platforms now 🎧 by @trina_runs
