Thank you @maximilian.klee for asking me to be apart of this showcase on @mutantradiotbilisi. I tried thinking of something that felt like a daily soundscape… but maybe because I was mid flight i thought of this… 1hr inspired by a year of flying between several cities. So many airports, layovers, birds, terrible food, missed connections, lost reception. These few songs became a soundtrack for my travels…

This month marks the Ghost Festival, a Taoist and Buddhist festival observed across East and Southeast Asia. As an offering to the spirits who wander the mortal world during this time, @trinh777 brings us an hour of sentimental songs to recall faded memories, places, and people tonight on @internetpublicradio . Dreams of laying in the grass looking at stars, the chirp of crickets blending with the distant echo of karaoke being sung in the house. Long drives along back country roads, windows down, singing along to old favorites. Music always marked a way back home.
